Good thing they didn't go with "Tampad"...

Palette sounds better.

Seriously, what's with the innuendo in tablet names?

I thought Sony Ericsson was a permanent acquisition? Are they really separating?

Too bad...I was looking forward to having 3D rice thrown at me...

LOL!

Its highly unusual for a company to go out of its way to kill the creative spirit of its employees...

Beam me up, Scotty. There's no intelligent life down here.

The reason Nexus One didn't sell was because it had no marketing. I'm sure there's a method to Google's madness, but I don't think their objective was to sell a bunch of Nexus phones. Nokia has a clear purpose, and if they decide to go that route, knowing their survival is at stake, they will pull out all the stops to

I disagree. In fact, I think that the less we have to depend on air travel, the better. Not only is it safer, but it causes less distress on passengers and less fuss through security due to the decreased danger of terrorism. If there was a real choice, I'd rather travel by ground across the US than on a plane.

FU for beating me to it.

A woman just died. Think about that before you make her the butt of your jokes. #pun

You know when you get that voice in the back of your head telling you something's not a good idea? This guy pierced through it.

I could've told you he had MORE than one loose screw when I first heard of this guy.

I'm disappointed they didn't go with "Halftime of my life" like that Simpsons episode.

"Elop compared Nokia's situation to a man on a burning oil rig who jumped from the rig's platform into freezing waters to save himself."

Nokia doesn't have to adopt Android on their long term strategy; they just need to survive, because they've already taken enough gambles to where they are today. As long as they do "ok", and not sell themselves short to a platform that hasn't exactly been setting the smartphone world on fire, they should be good.
