I almost feel like that should be reversed...legally drink at 16, vote at 18, drive at 21. That would never fly in the US though...maybe 16 you can only drive something with under 150 hp and under 4,000 lbs. You don’t get to drive anything over that until your 21.

I don’t think you need a CDL anywhere in the US to BUY the vehicle, whether you need a CDL to drive it legally depends state to state. Only the F550 exceeds the 26,000 lb GVWR, so the F450 doesn’t need it anyways.

It’s not marketed all that much though...I imagine if cafe standards applied to the F250 & F350 we’d suddenly see A LOT more ads for the F450 & F550

Seriously, if you add 3/4 and 1 ton trucks you’ll suddenly see Ford/Chevy/Ram upgrading interiors and marketing 1.5 ton trucks to consumers.

I don’t know why manufacturers decided we want less space in the center console so we can turn a knob or move a lever. At the very least, if you’re not going to give me a column shifter, put the stupid knob on the dash.
