I took a Bounty Hunter as well. Very good synopsis. :)

Me too. :P
I understand the morality of killing very well, which is exactly why I play video games and don't kill people or go to war. I think they're singing to the choir here.
Ah, the old, "You don't even know what that means" quip. Pathetic is pitiable or deserving of pity. Phallic is a penis. Fallacy is an unsound argument. So, your handle means that you're a Pitiable dick that makes unsound arguments. As I said, an appropriate handle. Thanks for the confirmation.
I don't recall making those jokes about women... I also haven't seen those jokes featured as a cute story on Kotaku. In fact, if this were about a man attempting (even as a joke) to sell off, trade, or entertain the training of his girlfriend/wife on craigslist, this story would have a far different tone. Do you feel…
Way to miss the point there. Your handle is spot on, though.
You do know what suffrage is, right? It's voting rights. Also, Obama passed a bill in his first year making it a federal mandate that women get equal pay for equal work. If you feel like you are being paid less than your male counterparts in the same job, you have a basis for a lawsuit backed by that mandate. I…
Yes. This. This is my problem with this story. Thank you.
That was my point. I'm not butt hurt as someone else alleged earlier. I just would appreciate it if the same standards went both ways. I understand that men have been oppressors in years past, but turning around and making the same types of comments that offend your gender once you've achieved equality through…
So, even as a joke, it's cool to treat men as pets and things to be trained? Why is it cool to do things like this about men and not women?
Normally, I'd be on your side. But, Nancy Grace is a bitch.
I think the problem here was never that you couldn't kill children. The problem is that children in the game could actively act against you and you had no option for dealing with them. Since there are so many herbs in the game, perhaps one that makes NPCs go to sleep for a prolonged period of time or something that…
It didn't make it the best, but it made it the most fun for you. Personally, I think the most fun I had playing a game was either Conker's Bad Fur Day or Mechwarrior 2, for completely different reasons. :)
It actually does. A review is basically extracting a long list of why the reviewer did or didn't have fun playing a game. But, it still returns to the core question, is the game fun? All reviews are subjective to the reviewer, just as all fun is subjective to the person playing the game.
For me, any game, from FPS to Turn based Strategy only have to do one thing... be fun. I had fun with MW3, I didn't with BF3. If you take out all other pieces of nit picking and boil it down to, "is it fun?" then buying and playing games becomes a hell of a lot easier.
Customizing a character / loadout is light role-playing.
Mass Effect had a good one with Wrex towards the end.
The question for me is, what are those 1.1 million people now doing with all of that free time? If each one of them were a casual player and only put 10hrs a week into WoW, that mean that there are 11,000,000 more free hours, per week, in the world now that weren't before. 616,000,000 more free hours per year just…
