In this particular case, I would say, give the parents of the girl the choice. They have suffered the greatest loss, they should pass the judgment. And, if they want the boys executed then they should be able to pull the switch, pull the trigger, or whatever method is offered. If they choose to let them live, then

Not that long, they're up for parole in 10 years.

Very well-written story. But, it seems as if Kim didn't play WoW at all. He played WoW intermittently and told a friend on WoW about the rape and murder, but that's the only connection to WoW in the whole story. Since the relation to the game is so tenuous, why is this linked so overtly in the headline?

Isn't his diatribe basically a very apt representation of what you can read in general chat on any (non RP) server all day, everyday? I think that his monologue here is far more representative of what you'll find in the game than what cosplayers can show you. :)

We are generation X, we are the collective Eeyore. We know what's coming, and we're depressed about it. We're always onto you, yet too apathetic to give you anything but a light brushing of passive-aggression before getting back to prime time.

It must be nice to live an entire life without knowing what it feels like to lose at anything. :)

Because the big ones are all caught and revisited every build. Quite a few get written off by the devs as not worth the extra man hours / production time to fix, or fixing them will cause far bigger issues. The one's that are in the last 2% (or so) are usually from localization builds. Weird shit starts happening when

You know you had him. :P

QA catches almost all the bugs. They report them all. Then, the Devs and Producers decide whether or not they want to fix them, based on a lot of factors. But, QA catches at least 98% of bugs per build.

QA will always beat Devs. There's no competition. I wouldn't be surprised if Sam slowed down to make Jeff feel like he had a chance. :)

LOL. I was wondering when this would pop up. :)

It really depends on my mood. I'll mute a lot of the racist trash and high pitched kid voices, and then I'll chat. But, I definitely have to spend a lot of time muting. It makes me sad.

I was in WoW's. They had an NDA as well.

Mechwarrior 2 was awesome. :)

I smack dogs on the nose with a rolled up paper when they're bad.

Cool enough, Stephen. I retract my opening paragraph. :)

It doesn't seem like he's "justifying" his love of hunting. It seems like he's explaining that he loves hunting. Also, you can flip your other sentence to change the article's slant; "Many Americans hunt, but others are appalled by it." can be switched to, "Some Americans are appalled by hunting, but many enjoy it."

This will probably be the last time you'll be able to use that picture before he is, actually, dead.

The flashing lights and the huge response aren't for the criminals, it's for other civilians in the area. They need to set up a perimeter so that other innocents aren't in harm's way, and are aware that a police action is being taken.

I agree wholeheartedly. :)
