Cars in the US are too big. I’ve travelled quite a bit in the UK and teh rest of Europe and cars there are generally MUCH smaller. Something the size of a smaller US pickup is HUGE there. I drove 1500KM in Ireland in a rental Golf, which was a relatively big car and did not feel I needed a bigger car.
I literally hauled about 5 wood pallets in the back of my 944 this morning, so yeah, people don’t need the big vehicles they think they do.
