Alternatively, back your motorcycle into such spots. The slope makes it easier for you to back in, and when it’s time to leave, just ride forward out of the spot, no muscle power required.

I’m 6’3” with long legs, so I have similar fitment issues. Unfortunately most of the bikes that have fit me best have been large-displacement bikes, but I also have a DR350 that has been a pretty good fit with taller bars and a taller seat.

Sadly, no. I really wanted to come and even had time off scheduled, but then my work decided it’d just be super to send me for a two-week training right then. I’m pretty bummed, I’ve heard VIR is a great track. Hopefully I can make the next one. Maybe by then my 944 won’t even be leaking so much oil everywhere!

Mine works, in that it gives me a rough idea how how much fuel is in the tank, but turning, especially long sweepers, can change the indicated fuel level by as much as a third of a tank as the fuel sloshes toward or away from the float.

The fuel gauge on my 944 doubles as a crude accelerometer - how’s that for a feature? Those Germans think of everything!

My DD - over 200,000 miles and still rolling!
