I came to post the exact same thing. It seems great minds do think Seinfeld. lol.

This is precisely why I never tell my family I'm in IT. When they ask me what I do I simply say "I'm a drug dealer". Starts up some interesting conversations and the worrisome remarks from family members is a ton easier to take then "Can you fix my laptop".

I think a plane near Antarctica just crashed around 10:55pm Est. I was watching it as it was the only one right next to Antarctica (leaving) and it was yellow for real time data and a few seconds later it just dropped off the map. Who should I report this too?

So he never used any of the birds that you have to hit to speed up, or hit to split into three? I call shenanigans.

I think the floppy disks are an even worse sin.

" 1 liter of electricity can get you 6 hours of electricity"

I hate that saying that everyone uses of "Cached data....it's instantly discarded as soon as the memory is needed for something else". Everyone says that but its not instant. For example, I have 16GB of ram in my machine and I'm heavy on Virtual Machines using 12-14 GB of RAM. I turn them on as a I need them so

I use G+ and check the app on my phone at least once every 2-3 hours. I use it as a news source of sorts. I have subscribed to everyone I want to hear from (ign, ars technica, powershell MVPs, NASA, tech guru's, etc) and its great as every post that comes in I want to read. I know tons of people that can't say that

I like how all the drives say "transfer speed up to 5Gbps" and yet all of those enclosures, except for the Thermaltake BlacX Docking Station, only support SATA 1/2 and not SATA 3. Thats just some false advertising and number 1 reason why none of these should be on the list. If these could support SATA 3 I'd gladly

He is living proof that money can buy happiness.

I don't fully enjoy Windows 8 but since this article is about great features then I'll add on.....Powershell 3.0 and Hyper-V. Those two make it tolerable for me.

Thats cool but how come we didn't see a slow motion video of the cat running? They had 3 high speed cameras and we didn't see one video of the cats running (whether slow motion or full speed) from those cameras.....only one video at the end of the crane video from a distance and of the whole machinery sliding across

I wish you would post every article on G+, trust me your not going to flood our streams........you only post up 10-15 articles per day anyway. Now gizmodo would flood our streams pushing out 60-70 articles a day with 2-4 every hour, lifehacker crew seems to only work 9-5 and nothing else comes outside that time frame.

"22. Someone who treats women equally"

"7" .... are nowhere near as big as people seem to think."

Oh well, thats good to know. I plan on getting a Nexus 7 when they release the cellular version and I'd be a bit pissed to have to have an antivirus resource hog on it. Thanks.

I think what he's getting at is item #1 in the article about Antivirus software on Android......really? Thats just hilarious that you need antivirus software on your phone lol. Thats what shows as his jest from my eyes.

I've seen plenty of 'shops in my day and this photo is obviously edited in Photoshop. The shadow on the spaceship is not natural so obviously this is a fake.

Who's the idiot now....The point is the lack of a start menu idiot. Using the desktop would involve me, as i mentioned earlier, cluttering my desktop with 100+ icons. The convenience of the start menu is lack of clutter and efficiency of quick handy access to apps.

I've been using (and still use ) Win 8 since RTM so to everyone saying I haven't used it.....I have and still am. I use Classic Shell to get the start menu back as I don't have a touch screen nor want to spend $1500 for a 24inch touch screen monitor (so much for Windows being cheaper than Macs).
