If the COTD winner got “Last Christmas”, I really don’t want to know what the COTD loser gets.

Beat me to it. I love LOVE the 4C but don’t understand how you can option one out for $98k, unless you’re a shady greedy dealer really marking up the undercoat sealant and extra fancy mats. I do want one though...very badly.
What the fuck did they add to the 4C to make it $95k MSRP over the $65k MSRP???
.7 at Ferrari’s test track is Fiorano about 2 seconds at Silverstone. Rossi said afterwards that yes he felt he could probably get into F1 but to find that time difference and challenge for a title was probably too much of an ask, and he wasn’t interested in being an also ran in F1.
Thanks for that.
He tested (and crashed) a Superbike before IIRC. His form looks pretty good for someone who isn’t a MotoGP rider though.
Rossi tested for Ferrari about a decade ago and lapped within .7s of Michael Schumacher on the day. One close lap time does not an F1 driver make, but I think you can safely say that he had a good shot at competing at an extremely high level.
Except he was harmed by it. You know how many Tesla cultists I saw when that was going on literally calling him a pedophile and trying their damndest to convince others? The only reason they stopped is because he brought the libel suit so they had to switch to defending Musk by saying it wasnt true. Has he not…
They’re already all over this thread.
Wtf!?! Wtaf!?!
He calls the guy a pedo, then apologises, then goes back to calling the guy a pedo - then sends emails to journalists that show he means it absolutely literally, after sending out a private investigator to find proof that the guy is a paedo.
The difference is that Unsworths insult was really just factual. The submarine idea was ridiculously stupid.
Just because he won a lawsuit doesn’t mean he was in the right. Also, as the CEO of a public company, he probably shouldn’t have toked marijuana publicly either. Public lapses in judgement aren’t great indications of leadership especially when you head multiple billion dollar companies (or the United States of America…
If any of the jury members were part of the Teslarati I could totally see this happening. Musk is a cult, and his evangelists are passionate and driven.
Ahh, the ‘He started it!’ argument. Brilliant.
If we properly educated American drivers about lane etiquette and, well, driving, there’s no reason our interstate highways couldn’t be a fast as the German Autobahn. They’re designed for aircraft landings and troop transport, after all.
The pinnacle are the guys who add extra fuel tanks to their car and never stop.
If only there were places for people to have fun driving their cars really fast that didn’t seriously endanger unwitting civilians on public roads. IF ONLY.
If a single piece of food was acquired from outside the car or if anyone peed outside the vehicle, there’s room for improvement. Seems like the pinnacle would be having some of those support people waiting at the pumps to fill your tank asap. Those pit stops COMPLETELY DESTROY YOUR PACE PLEASE JUST GET BACK IN THE CAR…
Nah, new vehicles use safety glass for the doors, so if you did the same thing to any modern car, the ball would still bounce off...it’d just cause the entire window to fracture into a million segments, but remain whole.
As this leaked image shows, the broken windows are part of the design.
