My folks had 6 FIATs in a row 2 127s, a 124, a 128, a Ritmo and a Regatta, and they were absolute troopers. The Ritmo was my first car, and its 1.3 liter 65hp carburetted motor carried me around the motorways of Europe for years without a hitch. My eyes roll when I hear the endless “Fix It Again Tony” jokes from

They were only crap by American standards, but Americans are dumb and believe they should get a Cadillac for $4K. If you maintained a Yugo, it would last forever. But, again, Americans were too stupid to figure out how to maintain them. You do know what a jalopnik is, right? If you want to read about boring shit,

Yeah, the Yugo’s design was a minor change and slight scale-down of the Fiat 127 series 2’s, on which the Yugo 45 was based. And the Fiat 127 original design was considered revolutionary at its launch, as it introduced the concept of the supermini, and won the 1972 European Car of the Year award. Its designer, Piu

One thing about Yugos: Whenever I see them placed on an “ugly cars” or “ugliest cars” list/book, I immediately conclude that the author has no credibility. They simply include the Yugo out of sheer laziness.

Of all the problems the Yugo arguably had, styling was not one of them. It’s a very conservative, aesthetically

We seriously need to review the maintenance regimes of these small private planes, it seems this happens too often. An ageing plane, probably seldom used, suddenly develops engine failure and crashes or has to make a risky forced landing, is an often reported event. I don’t think a lot of these private pilots keep up

Your training kicks in and you do the right thing”

You’re supposed to yield when merging, asshole!

I hope the laws are different out there than what happened years ago in Alabama.

And this lady is a fucking nurse? Not only is your medical bill going to bankrupt you… this might be the lady that takes care of you

Some nurses do traveling to stay ahead of things that are trying to catch up to them......and it works....for awhile

It’s Los Angeles.

Everyone assumes someone else is helping.

Profound mental health issues and still driving after 13 accidents? She was also a traveling nurse with profound mental health issues?

The amount of cars that simply drove around that wreck is absolutely mind boggling. What the fuck is wrong with people??

Not defending her also not a lawyer in any stretch, but a charge of murder implies forethought and planning and motive. That might be a tough sell. I just don’t see how she knowingly and purposefully did that. Manslaughter? All day and twice on Sunday.

13 prior accidents????? How did she still have a license?

That’s what I am wondering. I see no mention of suspended license or anything so I am guessing she had a valid one somehow.

Good. She should be in jail for an incredibly long time. Why is somebody with 13 previous car crashes allowed anywhere near a motor vehicle? You should have scooter privileges only after multiple documented self-caused wrecks.

A. Why the hell didn’t they black flag him back then??

Now playing

May other legends like Villeneuve’s be forged in the new circuit. Though the 2-wheel lap stunt he pulled back in 1979 would be totally black-flagged and heavily punished nowadays...
