Let's go ahead and substitute something else addicitve into your equation: are opioids something to 'hole someone accountable for...when they know better'?

Roth, I just want to say that among a cast of writers on the internet that is constantly changing and often mediocre, your work is fantastic, and I appreciate that I often get a few lines in and know who wrote it without checking the byline. Thanks.

You realize that the actual listed salary other a C-suite executive is not where they make their money, right

Do we know how much Rare/MS paid to have some big streamers hop on their game? As far as I know, there are no rules regarding reporting if you received payment to play a game on Twitch, so j just assume bluos like this are the results of advertising budgets incorporating streamers now.

I really don’t get and actively kind of hate the paid early access bullshit. ESPECIALLY since they’re treating this as some sort of trial/pre-release issue, where the game won’t even be patched for people playing now.

Big numbers impress some people. I’d rather a game have content where 99.999999% is actually relevant than just a statistic, and have much more complete simulation and attention to detail. Unless those millions and billions of other systems are actually impacting the game in some way.

Strike it. Harper and Machado signing lower rate contracts and setting an even lower celling for the next crop of FA’s doesn’t do the players any good. Get the players ready for 2022. And make it sting. Baseball isn’t at all a part of the social fabric the way it used to be, strike long, strike hard, and fuck these

If these cops really are in cahoots with these assholes, I can totally see how that last bit actually would be dissuading. If their buddies aren't there to protect them, they're at the mercy of the other side, and whatever cops do shown up if shit pops off, and the right wing dipshits certainly don't want a fair fight

The problem is that even if there isn’t an epidemic, this is high profile enough for opponents to make it SEEM like there is an epidemic. This is the only thing right wing racists and their enablers and media fronts need to invalidate all accusations, to villify all accusers, and expnerate all other racists.

If the Ray Rice incident taught me anything, it's that the NFL is a pile of worthless buffoons, and we will see something sooner rather than later, NDA or not.

The Collusion Meeting between all the owners is just BEGGING for the *DOOR FLIES OPEN* treatment.

This is the NFL and it's 2019. The idea that all of the documents/evidence will stay off the damn internet forever is impossible to me.

Plenty of marches have happened, yes, but where? Major urban centers that are already staunchly Democratic? Certainly marching the middle of Iowa, or Kansas, or South Dakota, or Montana, or anywhere else it would actually put pressure on the people in office that matter right now. Most of the time a march to nowhere

Yeah, I see all of those ‘features’ as useless bloat that PC gamers (or maybe just me) have to put up with because Steam is our only option. I never asked for trading cards or a marketplace for TF2 hats or discussion boards full of trolls or review bombs or friends lists and pop ups, or in home streaming or whatever.

You must have a very narrow understanding of ‘right’. Healthcare and access to healthcare is designated as a basic human right by the UN Declaration of Human Rights. Whether that’s legal and binding or whether that’s just a recognition of how far we’ve come from the 1700's, when the writers of the Constitution treated

Is Yoshi scaly? He looks smooth, like a skink or a salamander.

In most BR matches, if you survive the first 30 seconds the best strategy is to avoid other players altogether. It’s why the shrinking circle is such a staple: if the object of the game was to survive for as long as possible without it, everyone would just hide in a closet. Hide and seek with no seek.

Last time I checked, a county sheriff isn’t a constitutional law scholar that rules on such matters. It isn’t their job to determine that.

Indeed. Which is why there are no onerous prohibitions that keep the state from forming and maintaining a well-regulated militia, or from people joining those well-regulated militias. Oh, that was the right you were referring to, yes?
