Here’s your guy.
Here’s your guy.
What is this fictional ‘severance’ people keep talking about? Have none of you had a minimum wage job or something similar? Severance just doesn't exist for most of the legal workforce, let alone those prone to abuse because of their immigration status.
It's a remarkably stupid question. Obviously, the guy in charge of firing 200 people is not interested in having a group that opposes such a firing making it even harder for him.
In Buffalo, there was a time when the Police Union was very unhappy with their pay/benefits or whatever. Since they couldn’t strike, they took to doing the only other thing they could: abusing the citizens. They went on a ticket and citation writing frenzy. Every little thing got written up They would spend whole…
But they’re all just individuals trying to profit from the ad systems of the platform and directly from their viewers. It’s like saying the buskers in the park should unionize.
I like the penalty box and advantage, but as long as we are taking rules from other sports, I advocate for changing on the fly, too. It would be entirely stupid and ridiculous, but I think it would be better to watch.
Does it say something about the actual usefulness that a tech writer that does reviews works on a 4k monitor with VRR and had no idea it wasn’t even utilizing VRR? I’m assuming the author imagined it was on and being used, as they were aware of the feature. Day to day usefulness doesn’t seem key.
If nothing else, it’s a far, far cheaper development cost. And they can port it to other systems later, anyways.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but Warframe has had social areas for years before Plains. Every relay allows for open interaction, and there is Maroo’s Bazaar, the trading space that allows players to meet up. As well as being able to invite others to your individual spaceship.
I’m guessing that’s because it’s really not a Bioware game? If DICE turned around and promised to make a sprawling fantasy RPG saga, I would look askance at that, too.
Yeah, I get that the money isn't exactly 'buying' anything, but it's not as though the money itself is in addition to normal expenses. My guess is that most workers will be expected to catch up on the missed work when they are reinstated anyways, the government won't just be behind for a month and a half in…
Perhaps I’m confused, but are these just the wages that would otherwise have been paid normally for work completed? So it’s $6B/month to keep this part of the federal workforce going?
I long for the days when teams could be expelled from a league or fold when 4 guys get busted for gambling.
This. Given the games random nature, the unnavigable size of each planet, that the player never feels a true need for advancement. I never felt like the base building provided anything I needed or really wanted. Each planet is essentially the same and so you never feel like ‘completing’ anything. And the base building…
Just wait a few more years and the Half Life-inspired, buy to play with microtransactions, Battle Royale game will be launching to everyone’s disappointment.
This idea that keeps getting bounced around that this is the only way to ensure internal consistency with the AC universe is totally false. Not since the Ezio trilogy has this been a major part of any story. You don’t play as a descendant of the historical character anymore. In fact, since the story in this game is…
This is straight bullshit.
That was an... uninspiring announcement. For nondescript white blonde woman, it was a pretty nondescript, boilerplate announcement.
But the whole problem here is that Disney wants to have an iron fist about the IP. EA’s own focus grouping was pushing the original single player game into a space of known characters and tropes. It’s only ever going to be more of the same, until Disney releases new official material in the form of more movies.
