Nadal was relentless as usual, but if we’re being honest here, his win was more from Thiem choking away the third set.

There was just SO MUCH in this game. That play alone had three potential lowercase goats: George Hill short-arming his free throw, KD’s miserably bad box out, JR’s superboner. I legitimately forgot that Klay’s leg looked like it exploded in the first half (more JR!).

The issue is not whether Lebron was there before Durant. As you said, Lebron was clearly there first. The question is whether or not Lebron established himself before Durant started his shooting motion. That’s less obvious and I honestly can’t decide which way this should have gone. In which case it should have stuck…

Enh, this is a pretty likeable Celtics team. A lot of hard working, young players, smart players, smartly coached.

I enjoy how every game in these conference finals is like a self-contained entity that has no relationship whatsoever to anything that came before or will come after, other than the simple fact the same people are involved. It’s like watching a Law and Order marathon.

While I find that Berdych is indeed a pretty good benchmark in general, it should be said that he is not much of a clay player as he hits a pretty flat ball on both wings.
