I generally agree, but I’ve been wondering lately, how much of this is the Stevens’ effect?

No the jackson can’t shoot to save his life and doesn’t necessarily have any refined go to moves he’s just really athletic so some project potential of a players athleticism but in this case Tatum is much more refined already and the game comes easy to him as well as he’s ridiculously long limbed so whatever he lacks…
The C’s should trade Irving & either Brown or next number 1 pick to Spurs.
I’m glad this isn’t a serious question.
The scary thing about the Celtics is they have figured out how to play offense without their stars. The one thing all year people were down on them for was they couldn’t score. They can now and when you combine that with their crazy good defense they have a real shot at getting out of the East.
They’re almost a prefect team and yet the refs still feel a need to help them in every way. It’s infuriating.
Man if you watched game 3 you’d know, NO was tryingto disrupt the warriors by being physical with the pulling and shoving. They were not playing smart defense and that got them in the bonus early. And even if they took so many shots in the paint gsw kevon looney played excellent defense on davis without fouling and…
GS is the best in the league at swiping at the ball when it’s not in a primary ballhandler’s possession, getting in passing lanes, and going straight up or flying by the shooting hand side on jumpers.
As a Warriors fan, I am making it a point to loudly and publicly agree with people who are pointing this out. It’s been comical. At one point in the second quarter of Game One, the Dubs had shot like 20 free throws in the quarter and the Pelicans hadn’t shot any. They finally got to shoot a couple at the very end of…
Most Warriors fans will balk at this but I think you’re right. I’m not sure it would have altered the outcome, but I think it definitely could have.
The fact that (to my knowledge) we never got a ridiculous Bill Simmons screed about the FTA disparity in this game makes me think maybe there’s less there there than the numbers seem to indicate; but in all six previous games in that series the totals were much more even. I need someone more competent who has more…
That disparity looks fucking ludicrous. I can’t go too far down the rabbit hole at work, but a lot of these games have what look like weird FTA disparities. Here, for instance, looks an awful lot like the league might have wanted some Tim Donaghy level shit to ensure the Pels would finish off the Blazers. I haven’t…
I’m partisan here but it feels like the Warriors are both playing really well on defense and getting a favorable whistle. New Orleans got cooked in Game 1, but last night the Warriors got a few calls I remember watching and thinking “that one’s a gift.”
I havent watched much of the two games, but Golden State is one of the best defensive teams in the league. It doesnt surprise me that much that they shoot way more free throws than they give up
I mean in fairness to this guy, the ball never should’ve been passed back to him in the first place. It looks to me like he tried to respond to the striker’s pressure by going down and trying to get it with his hands until he remembered that the pass had come from his own teammate so he couldn’t. Even if he had…
Looks like he was just gonna slide and grab the ball with his arms/hands... but realized too late that he couldn’t do that (since the ball was kicked to him by a teammate).
The play right before it was ruled a turnover when it wasn’t so....meh. Also wrong are the people saying that it wouldn’t have mattered anyway bc Lebron hit a 3. Anyone who has ever played sports at any level knows it’s much, much easier to make a clutch play when missing/failing results in Overtime/Extra Time. Much…
Westbrook and George hit shots, yes (finally!). But Gobert and Favors had 5 fouls each before the end of the third. Not to get colloquial but, GTFOH with that officiating.
Gobert’s foul trouble changed everything. For the Thunder offense, that’s obvious. Russ got going, probing the lane, finishing at the rim, and then he hit some big threes. On defense, it actually helped OKC because the high screen more or less became an afterthought, and that had been murdering the Thunder all series.…
I watched this whole goddamn video
not even a single regret
