Turned the game on at the end of the 3rd. Gobert was on the bench with 5, and I saw Favors pick up his 5th. I was wondering if the Thunder were feasting on some good, old fashioned home cooking!

I turned the game on toward the end of the 3rd quarter, and Gobert already had 5 fouls. Were they legitimate fouls, or was OKC getting a little home cooking?

His defense was outstanding, and he put up 28 ppg on 57% shooting plus 6 assists. You could certainly make an argument he was the best guard in the first round.

I didn’t catch that the first time! Hilarious! I actually thought Kanter was funnier in those videos than Adams.

Now playing

You inspired me to go searching for these commercials. I stumbled on this. My favorite are his sketches with Kanter. It made my Friday. Thank you.

His cheshire cat smile still creeps me out.

Whiny cheater may have been harsh. It does seem, however, that she complains about the design flaw you describe so well, even though it sometimes benefits her and sometimes hurts her.

Yeah, that’s pretty much what I meant.

Everything I know about Christie, I’ve learned from two Deadspin posts I’ve read. But it certainly looks to me like some of this “bad luck” is karma. In the gif above, it looks like she sticks her arm out to stop another skater from passing her (or maybe to help her pass that skater), and that’s what causes her to

I was going to disagree, pointing out Aaron Gordon’s dunks from 2016, which were awesome. But I just went back and rewatched them, and he didn’t need any gimmicks for those to be awesome. Yes, he used the Magic mascot. But he didn’t need him. The dunks were amazing in-and-of themselves. (And yes, I still think he

My thoughts exactly.

My thoughts exactly. Ertz’s TD was a catch, no question. I thought Clements was bobbling it, but could see why the refs wouldn’t want to overturn it.

Good points. I forgot about the racket switch. I bet he wishes he’d done that sooner.

Easy there big guy. I’m just saying I wouldn’t be surprised. The steroid era has made me cynical.

I’m as big a Federer homer as anyone, but it would not surprise me in the least if he was on something. Player appears to be past his prime (for about 5 years) then suddenly starts playing some of the best tennis of his career? You could chalk it up to health (he had back issues for a couple of years that appear to be

We’ve all known this for a while, but I was listening to Zach Lowe’s podcast yesterday, and the verbal fellatio that Windhorst was performing on Lebron was really on another level. When Lowe pointed out how bad Lebron has been on defense lately, Windhorst defended him as being “dispirited” by the bad play of his

Berdych looked like he was baiting Delpo with his backhand slices. He knew Delpo would hit a cross-court slice back at him, and when he did, Berdych blasted a forehand down the line.

Can Zverev’s troubles at the slams be chalked up to his skinny legs? He just doesn’t look like he’s built for 5 sets. Until he strengthens his lower body, I think he’s going to keep struggling at majors.

The split screens are the worst!

Yet further evidence of Brad Stevens’ genius. I was actually pissed about the Kyrie/Isaiah trade because it included Jae Crowder. Like, I actually thought Jae Crowder was a really good player and would be a difference maker for the Cavs. Oops. You fooled me again Stevens. You’re such a kidder!
