Agree. I’ve defended her against players complaining that she should be banned from life. I think that’s ridiculous for what she did. But I have no problem with her earning the points to qualify for major tournaments.

I love Federer, but this is disappointing. He can say everything he wants about prolonging his career (and it’s probably mostly valid), but he’s pulling out of the French because he knows he can’t beat Nadal on clay.

Funny. I wonder if Curry lands like that on purpose, with his legs spread out, to avoid this move from the defender?

It was still dirty, even if it was legal.

Your numbers kind of prove the “maybe,” no? The Russians were taking a legal (at the time) supplement that they thought helped them. If it actually did help, more than 2% of other players probably would have been using it, right? Elite athletes do weird stuff all the time that they think will give them an edge.

Pass the watermelon.

You could make an argument that lots of supplements, which are perfectly legal, are “cheat drugs.” It was legal at the time. I’m not saying it was right or wrong for her to use it. I don’t know. But it seems like elite athletes do lots of weird stuff to try to get an edge. The line between legal and illegal seems

Maybe it helped her. I guess we’ll see if she can return to the top 10 without it. Still, it wasn’t illegal for most of the time she was using it, and she served, what I think most objective people agree, was an overly harsh punishment. Players like Bouchard saying she should be banned for life, and to a lesser

All the players whining about Sharapova look like jealous haters. Up until a few months before the ban, it wasn’t even illegal, and I don’t think I’ve seen any evidence that it actually helped her. Congrats Bouchard, you barely beat someone who hasn’t played in 15 months.

I read about that. Maybe he’s feeling a little extra motivated!

Iso Joe was awesome last night, but I’m waiting for someone to give Utah’s other Joe some love. Ingles had 11 assists last night, he has turned JJ Redick into an afterthought, and he’s even being asked to defend CP3 for stretches. I didn’t know anything about him before this series, but he has really impressed me.

I was going to say something similar. I’ve never played organized tennis, but I enjoy playing and watching. These articles me understand the game a lot better.

I don’t follow baseball all that closely, but this article made me curious, so I checked out Murphy’s stats. In 40 at-bat’s this year, he’s walked only once and struck out only 4 times. Last year, he walked 35 times and had 58 strikeouts. For someone who’s kind of a power hitter now, that seems pretty incredible.

Lowe has been my favorite NBA writer for a while now, but his article made no sense. He clearly made a much stronger argument for Westbrook or Harden than for Kawhi. (I love Kawhi, but Westbrook is the MVP. It’s really not close.)

The Heat were 27-19 this year with Waiters, and 13-22 without him. So, maybe he’s a better player than people give him credit for. He really impressed me in the playoffs last year, especially his defense. If he plays within himself, he is a good player.

As a Fed fan, this worries me. Nothing in sports would surprise me anymore, and his start to this year seems too good to be true.

I would really like to know what has changed with Kyrgios. People have been talking about his talent for years, but from what I was reading after the Australian open, I thought he was going to quit tennis. Now, he’s playing better than anyone in the world not named Federer, and he looks like he’s having fun doing

I was wondering that too. It looked like Fed was playing with him on a couple of shots that he could have put away easily.

Thank you for bringing attention to this national crisis. I love Federer, but his ugly outfits this year should automatically disqualify him from that GQ sylish man award he won.

I had not thought about the positioning. That’s a good point.
