Nah. Most people don’t use one, but enough people do that as long as you don’t play with it all the time (like Curry), you’ll be alright. Leg and arms sleeves, on the other hand....

The Spurs are a weird team. I’ve been looking at these off/on numbers, and it does look like their bench is really, really good. http://stats.nba.com/team/#!/1610612759/onoffcourt-summary/?sort=FGA&dir=1
I used to think this too until I was playing in my rec league and someone’s elbow almost put my tooth through my upper lip. I still haven’t bought a mouthguard, but I understand why people use them.
This story is incredibly inspiring. I hope he goes on to win a major or two so we can watch a movie about this some day.
Isn’t this just the evolution of his “sneak attack” that he started doing a couple of years ago. That was on second serves, but the idea seems to be the same. Hit the ball on the rise and put it in play before the opponent is ready. Point being, I don’t think this is a new tactic for Roger. Maybe he’s just gotten…
As I was watching the 3rd quarter, I kept wondering why the Clippers were running with the Warriors. It seemed to play right into the Warriors hands. Then, after a TV timeout, they had some audio of Doc telling his team to pick up the pace. Overrated indeed.
For the life of me, I cannot understand how he is shooting 43% from 3. And he shoots a lot of them. Almost 6 a game. Makes me question everything I ever thought I knew about shooting a basketball.
He’s probably referring to Bennett, who I guess arguably backs up Gronk?
I got into an argument with my wife about that. She was all, “they’re not the same. The shirts are different.” I was like, “They’re both even wearing black socks with a little pink stripe around the top!”
I’d just like to point out that the Mavs are actually playing pretty well lately (7-3 in their last 10). I’m not a Mavs homer, but Rick Carlisle is one of the best coaches in the league. I fully expect the Mavs to get the 8 seed in the west (only 4 games out right now), where they will steal at least one game from…
Coco seemed to crush Muguruza’s will even more than Stan crushed Tsonga’s. After a close first set, it felt like Muguruza accepted that she couldn’t beat Coco, and she just wilted away.
I think we’re on the same page. I believe you about it being in the CBA. My point is that it’s not in the contract language they cited in the article. And since the whole article makes it sound like this was something unique to Taylor’s contract, the article is therefore stupid.
You’re probably right. I don’t know. But that’s not what the clause in this article says.
The way I’m reading that clause, they could still release him and not have to pay him even if he’s injured, so long as they don’t release him because of the injury. Is there some additional language that says if they release him while he’s injured, they have to pay the full salary?
All these people bragging about passing out at the wheel? I hope there is some kind of inside joke I am missing. If not, I agree with you, fuck ‘em all.
Yes. Parachuting. Parasailing would be kind of hard from a bridge!
Apparently I’m in the minority, but I think they look good.
I meant to say “paraglide” (parasailing would be pretty tough from a bridge). But they actually parachuted off the bridge.
Some Navy guys tried parasailing or something off of it a few years ago. They survived, but were immediately arrested.
Since it’s so rare for someone to do this in a rec league game, Biebs must have done something to really piss the guy off. Right?
