I think you could make a decent argument that Klay Thompson is the best shooting guard in the league right now. But after Thompson and Harden, there's not exactly a lot of competition for best shooting guard. Jimmy Butler? Wesley Matthews? Kyle Korver?

Agreed. I'm trying to understand what these charts/stats mean, but that Chris Paul chart just makes no sense to me.

It says he's that much better on offense than he is bad at defense.

Something seems to be very off with these charts. According to Goldsberry's chart of Howard, opponents almost never take shots near the basket when Howard's in the paint, but in Harden's chart, they can't miss. Maybe transition buckets have something to do with that, but I would think there would be enough times

I was surprised by how good a defender the charts said Chris Paul was. I have thought for a few years that he was an overrated defender, but based on Paul's chart and the stats Goldsberry throws out there, he should up for defensive player of the year. In other words, I am very suspicious of these defensive stats.

I think I would prefer that to QB's throwing deep passes that have no chance of being caught just to see if the DB will run into the WR.

As a few other people pointed out, it looks like that's exactly what he did. He seems to be hitting him in the shoulders, not head.

From a purely business perspective, I think I can see the owners' perspective. If they're going to have to pay for the stadium, they might as well go to a bigger market where they'll make more money. If the smaller markets want to keep them, they'll have to pay.

Yeah. I live in San Diego, and I wouldn't call Scripps Ranch a "wealthy" part of town. It is a nice, mostly middle-class suburb about 20-30 minutes from the beach that people move to for the good schools.

I'd love to know what Browner said to him before the snap. It looks like Butler is actually a little out of position and then Browner tells him where to go. I wonder if Browner gave him a heads-up on what to look for.

Amazing. That commercial pissed me off so much. I'm glad something good has been made out of it.

I was so geeked up for that movie, and it was just boring.

I usually get annoyed by your fawning posts about "amazing" NBA players. But in Curry's case, every word is deserved. There is not enough praise for this man.

Agreed. It was a pretty good dunk - old man or not. It's not like he barely got it over the rim. He had some decent hang-time, had his arm well over the rim, absorbed some contact, and threw it down with some flourish. A really nice dunk.

Sportscenter had a better angle last night. #12 got destroyed with a straight right.

Yep. His original Beast Mode run is one of those plays where I remember exactly where I was. I must have rewound the Original 10 times, and each time I re-watched it, it became more amazing. Last night's play was a very nice run. Probably the best in the NFL this year. But you cannot even put it in the same

Why does it matter who gets the "scoop?" Within a few minutes, it will be everywhere.

"He said one dopey thing in a presser and the resulting backlash wave could flood the Eastern Seaboard."

It looked to me like the guy turning saw the dude standing there at the last second, slowed down and tried to adjust to miss him, and then got hit.

Dude's got wheels!
