So well acted. Shot perfectly too!

Yo, that first gif makes me want to buy a lottery ticket and check in on my sun confidant.

To be fair, Trader only sucks so much because there are never any animals, which seems to be a separate issue (unless you just started a mission, in which case welcome to the zoo).

Just spitballing on the new role though, it could be some combo of Bounty Hunter and Treasure Hunter - get a little rumble that something

Smart. They badly damaged the brand with an undercooked first appearance on the PS4/XB1, missing basic features (no season mode or most any other modes from the PS3/360 version, couldn’t manually draft players in the sole 1P campaign called Be A GM, no editing features, etc etc). So rushed out the door the game didn’t

This. Before you know it, no bad depiction of any race, person, gender, etc. will be allowed.

So what’s next? I’m white and I think it’s racist that there are white characters in video games. Should I proceed to tell this to every developer. Nah, that would be silly.

Why would I spend around $500 (or whatever it ends up costing) on a console day one, with next to no games, and just play my old console most of the time, when I can wait a couple of years for a price drop and a respectable number of games to come out? It’s not like I’ll be missing anything. I can always get older

100% this. Full backwards compatibility with PS4 would have made it an easy day one buy as a more powerful replacement to my PS4. I mean, I’d be able to play all my current games (some likely enhanced), plus the new ones on the same box. It was a no brainer. Now it’s a hard no for day one. Sony has a poor history with

I was actually hoping that it *would* make it obsolete. I already have five different consoles in my entertainment center. I was hoping to swap the next gen for their current counterparts. Sounds like I can do that with Xbox but would need to find room for three PlayStations instead of just two.

Yup.  I’ve been saying it for a while.  Robust enough BC would have made this a Day One for me, but this just seems to kill that entirely.

Its just that xbsx is doing all the BC day one, apparently.

This is real disappointing. Knowing that it’s going to be only certain games takes the PS5 from a day 1 buy, to a year 2 or 3 buy.

Yes that’s how it was rolled out, BUT that was for the previous gen. Both the Xbox One and PS4 were not designed to be backwards compatible. It’s a miracle Microsoft was able to pull it off when they did and in turn forced Sony to be more pro active about it. Both companies saw that this is still a selling point for

The writing for this was definitely on the wall back during the season of the drifter or whatever it was called

“Rough start” is an understatement.

Bungie’s seeming focus on “less story, more grinding” with content is perplexing to me after the success of the Forsaken DLC. Forsaken was filled to brim with story moments, major new content drops, riddles, and other things players really enjoy. Since then, every new “season” has been increasingly light on those

Oof. No thanks.

ESPN missed the boat when it didn’t negotiate flex scheduling for its MNF contract. So you get stuck with Bengals/Steelers and Patriots/Jets and (checks schedule) Dolphins/Steelers? Good lord.

MNf is just bad. Tessitore is bad. Booger really knows what he’s talking about, and he does a great job of explaining things viewers might be missing. He’s definitely improved from last season, though he could stand to relax a bit still, he goes a mile a minute sometimes.

They get the worst of it though, because everyone is exhausted by the end of the NFL week. TNF has become more interesting as the football appetizer and first sign that the weekend is approaching. SNF is appealing because they generally get the better matchups, and it gives you one last chance to enjoy the weekend
