I've never really understood why attempted murder and completed murder are treated differently. He's kind of just lucky that she didn't die. It's like "oh, you really sucked at that murdering thing. We'll knock off half your sentence for not getting it right." All the same intent and actions. It's just odd. Punishing…

Because astonishingly he wasn't convicted of trying to murder her. From The Telegraph (a mildly better pace to give your clicks than the Daily Mail) (bolding mine):

The fact that John Legend married her made me judge him heavily. She is the definition of a mean girl. Also, bragging about your love/sex life is a sign that your relationship will not last.

Some people are just terrible.

For me, at a sit down place it's 25%, delivery 20%, carry out 15%-20%. At the bar it depends on the number of drinks and how much they are, but for a beer or two it's $5. All of these with the caveat that they don't fuck things up too badly. When they do, and it is obvious, I call them on it.

After being confronted about this incident later by a few bold servers and some of the other regulars, he replied that he shouldn't have had to pay ANYTHING on that tab as he came to our fine establishment to enjoy (torment) the pretty servers and got stuck with a BOY.

I cannot WAIT for a day when everyone clamors about how having more than 4 or 5 women on the Supreme Court isn't fair because women only make up about 50% of the general population... and then promptly has to backtrack on why it was OK to have only men on the Supreme Court for decades (centuries actually).
