Well, yes and no. I would say that it is more of a continuation of certain themes in Fallout: New Vegas than a spiritual successor to all of Fallout. From an aesthetic viewpoint, The Outer Worlds marries retro-futurism (IE 60-70's era science fiction, which came right after the 50's-era atompunk that Fallout is

Clear media bias on naked display here. We learned from the Switch that the game media themselves are the tasty part of a console. How much is Sony paying you guys?

Can we call them ‘cheaters’ instead of ‘high level players?’

If they were really high level players, they wouldn’t have needed to cheat.

This is the type of stuff I would have loved to see on Deadspin. Hope to see you on Defector, friend!

Well it is called Jedi Fallen Order...I’ll see myself out.

You seem to have egregiously missed the point, and you’re being kind of a jerk about it.

There is nothing that a ceo does that justifies a 100x increase in their pay over the people that literally make the product that is being sold. Without those tuners there is no product and without the product there is no profit.

What happens when developers finally get tired of the treatment and pursue more lucrative opportunities elsewhere?

I just had an argument last night on my weekly Zoom trivia contest with my friends.  The question was “Who was the villain in Silence of the Lambs?”  I answered Buffalo Bill, but the host said the answer was Hannibal Lector.  I countered that it was Buffalo Bill that was killing all the women, and that Anthony Hopkins

Bautista might be the best wrestler-turned-actor but he’s more of a character actor than a star. I suspect he doesn’t get that many quality offers.

He’s just following the Rock’s patented wrestler-to-actor formula of doing some action, some action-comedy, and some garbage.

This was one of those movies where it probably looked a lot better on paper. The cast are all do a good job. The direction is really the weak part. There are tonal shifts through the film that seems like they are directorial choices more than the writing. This even bleeds through into the editing where you can tell

I’ve seen the trailer for this for so long that I honestly thought it was his second kid-adjacent movie. Stuber basically had the same premise and exact same AVC review grade, so that probably compounds the effect.

How about we don’t encourage devs to outright lie in marketing material? I can’t imagine how that could go wrong...

Isn’t the answer that the good police officers work from within the system to bring about systemic change and root out corruption?

Very few people are talking about eliminating the job of police officer. Most reform being proposed is about reconstituting them to focus on responding to serious crime in local communities, not societal issues like addiction and homelessness that require a social worker, mental health professional, or other

To put it simply, we don’t send people with guns to shoot fires.

The point is to rebuild policing so not every problem is solved by violence.

“2013 edgelord memes it never should have left” sorry man, but this shit being unacceptable was front and center in 2013. 2003? Maybe. 2013? No fucking excuse.

If a company can’t take 10 seconds to demonstrate they aren’t racist then people can absolutely exercise their free speech and boycott them. You people love free speech right?
