Rodeoing a Titan now does a pre-rendered animation where you either open the capsule and remove the battery (effectively eliminating 1/5 of the Titan’s health) or toss a grenade in the hatch where the battery used to be.

I can see why they have the rodeo system as is because, at least based on Scorch and Ion, there is no Titan counter to a rodeo right now. There’s no electric smoke, there’s no cluster missles, there’s no way to stop a rodeoing Pilot while in the Titan. Meaning the old system would vastly favor the Pilot.

Eh, I probably enjoyed it the most out of the three modes, but the loss of AI really feels like a step back :/
