One method is to rush through and clear the backlog, but that seems counter-intuitive and potentially ruins the fun of playing a game you wished to.
I mean, that’s kinda what OG Titanfall allowed. Everyone at the minimum was able to call in one Titan before the match ended.
Loot crates randomly assign you character skins, emotes or money. Again, there’s no natural progression.
But they’re not really killstreak rewards in OG Titanfall. At a minimum, a user could call in one Titan before the match ended. It’s like Ultimates in Overwatch.
I mean, isn’t the incentive to do as well as possible?
Also, Homestead and Boomtown have these weird side areas that are super wide open so that grunts and spectres can spawn in Bounty Hunt. Whereas in OG Titanfall, you had maps that were less spread out but more dense and had a lot more verticality and subterranean areas going for it.
Other than that killing grunts, pilots and Titans is much easier in a Titan than as a pilot?
Pharah would get eaten alive before she could sniff Bastion and Reinhardt.
No, what you said was “you didn’t unlock any new weapons or equipment by killing enemies in the mech. you could only unlock stuff by getting kills on foot”, which is factually untrue. Now whether the upgrades were worthwhile is another story.
Genji was a little too good for people who knew how to use him on consoles . One Genji player had a 94% win percentage and it wasn’t always because his team was stacked.
I’ll be curious because, with the impending Zenyatta nerf and Mercy buff, if Pharah won’t see more usage, as she’s a better Junkrat in that regard.
Yes, I’ll trust your anecdote over those that professional competitive teams that have made it their mission to min/max the game to death, hence why the meta had Reinhardt as D tier when the maps were exclusively King of the Hill and why Reinhardt falls in favor of Winston and Zarya in terms of meta usage, with the…
At least with Genji and Bastion, you don’t even have to be that good. You simply have to know how to deflect his bullets back at him and if he stops, dash through him to prevent him from healing.
I think I’ve seen more irritation when a Bastion and a Reinhardt camp up on Hollywood by Objective A, meaning the only character who can take it down is D. Va with a full defense matrix.
I wonder, if your team ran as 6 Genjis if things would’ve been different because I don’t think a single Winston can neutralize all six before they start neutralizing Bastion.
Well, for starters, Reinhardt is only used for attack and that’s mostly for payload maps.
You’re thinking of Overcrotch.
Smart team comp....have the one hard counter to Bastion’s hard counter.....almost as evil as 3 Bastions hiding behind 3 Reinhardts.
And if you didn’t collect it then, then what?
