True it’s not insurmountable. For the time being I don’t live in a house so I can’t setup a charger for an EV. Having a hybrid that can charge itself works best for me and when that changes, then I’ll look at going with a full on EV.

Pretty much. “State’s rights” only applies until the TGOP disagrees with what you want to do (single payer healthcare, legal weed, legal abortions, etc.) Then the Federal Government has to step up in! For the children of course!
That’s the big thing that holds me from buying a EV or hybrid that can be charged. I don’t have access to a charger that can do that so buying a full EV is out of the question for me.
