I keep getting surprised by each new warframe I unlock being substantially different from the others. I keep expecting a reused effect in some way “It’s like ember, but toxic damage!” or whatever, but there is not anything that feels like that.

Earlier this year there was an article on here discussing the changes over the last few years, since then I have dipped back in after stopping when Destiny 1 came out.  Bloody hell, they have really worked hard at adding things to the game.  I am still playing a few months later and having a great time with it.

And if HR decides it is worth a cent, is it fair? At release the product will be $60. Generally Ubi are looking at around $20ish dollars for each box after first parties/distribution/shop costs/etc, plenty more for digital. The $50,000 is chump change.

That is the trick with business. They say “We are like YouTube, but more indie and really represent YOU and not the evil Googles” and people suddenly use it. They are never going to beat Google, but they will make a good chunk of money for the people in charge. Get a big name involved too (JGL) and you are golden.

The JGL/Hitrecord thing is paying out on the cheap. They have $50k to split between all of the contributors to the project on a scale decided by Hitrecord. That is fairly low, considering budgets of games like this. Saying “we payed out almost three million dollars over the last eight years” is not much of a defense

There is also the problem of debates vs voting day, which are two very different things. The pictures are misleading (bear in mind that MPs were asking to not have the pay rise but that was refused by the independent group that awarded it). She is also a bit rubbish at what she does. She has the lowest voting record and makes some very misleading statements. It is good to see that some young people are interested in getting into it, but she seems burnt out by the whole thing.

I saw they are making a movie with JenLaw in it. I was not fully surprised.
