i know, fantastic movie, and so much of it echo'd any large-family from a family-oriented culture - it meant a lot to me (south asian) and a huge variety of my children-of-first-gen-immigrant-parents friends!

i think the quote refers to not wanting to be a female sidekick in an action movie who doesn't do much. however from the reviews i've read of this new movie, she is NOT just a sidekick ("badass" has been used in multiple reviews!) - she seems to play a major role on par with Tom Cruise. So, that is not a shift in

so true. you know this STILL gets spliced into song mixes!

yes! even the clips they used for the intro theme were awesome.

that was a great speech and a great lesson — do what makes you great, not just what makes you happy. and every great accomplishment comes with some fear or terror.

your comment is incredibly unacceptable and uncalled for. in so many ways.

I just saw a commercial that Queen Latifah is getting a late night show on BET! would be cooler if it was the primetime tv late night, but still.

I also recommend oilof olay (day and night), or aveeno.

Isn't there ANYONE you three know in NYC who are not chai virgins, who know what real chai (i.e. any type of south asian chai) tastes like, who can tell us whether this IS chai or just another bastardized version a la starbucks, panera, etc. ? is it syrupy and overly sweet? is it excessively spiced? this article tells

agreed w all the comments here about billy boy being a hypocritical bastard, but i have this to add:

they do have metlife stadium in the meadowlands listed for 7/11. although the tickets link is greyed out :(

I've had good results with aveeno oatmeal lotion, though I've used it on my body not my face. But the colloidal oatmeal really helps.
