I totally agree, I think it’s because they are ‘new’ to a lot of people in the US, the UK, etc. It seems kind of Victorian to me to get crazy about thongs, when ‘sexy’ underwear is hundreds of years old. It’s underwear. Cis men are just going to go nuts over whatever is around because that is what is expected of them.

I have days when I want to package my ass up like a parcel and days when I want my ass to fly free!! You have to pick your thong though. Nice and soft, no cheese wire efforts, a relatively wide string bit *should* just sit there. And when the temp hits the high 30s, I find that a thong makes it a teensy less awful…

You can get liners for thongs, some are better than others but mostly they should stay put :)
