I’ve seen bunches of butterflies like that, too. Always wondered why they do that.
That’s true, but university leadership in general is also pretty terrible. It’s not like most large colleges have any kind of good track record dealing with sexual assault.
Very thick and curly. More than one loop is a pain to remove, and a single loop didn’t give me as much hold as I liked. But if you don’t mind a loose grip, these could be great if tighter bands give you headaches. Otherwise I don’t know why other people seem to like them.

I gave these a try and wasn’t a fan; I think you have to have a particular kind of hair, maybe.

I recommend giving Faeria a try. It’s a lot like Hearthstone, but I think there’s more room in the meta and acquiring the nice cards is easier and less necessary.
About the last letter: I’m a nerdy woman and often I stopped engaging with guys who seemed excessively nerdy. Too many times, the conversation went one of two ways:
Yeah, I came here exactly to say that. I’ve met guys with multiple interests who seem to pick one and just give a speech about it when they’re nervous - whether other people care or not.
I didn’t have a bf until my 20s, so I empathize. For me, it was mostly a confidence thing, and I had a lot more luck after learning to like my appearance more and actually talking to people at parties.
Mine was at a really nice venue with a large outdoor area. I don’t regret getting it, but everybody went outside instead of staying around the dance floor. The flowers were way too expensive and I was going to DIY more of the work, but ended up running out of time. We had an open bar and it cost a lot less than…
(ie fixates on one issue with a work to the exclusion of the ability to discuss other aspects)
These situations aren’t directly comparable - the former is trying to equalize men and women, while the subject of this article is about a racial inequality more than a gender one. People are rightly skeptical that the girls will receive an amount of spending proportional to their performance relative to the boys’.
It’s depressing, but less so if you think about how this is pushback from things getting better for women. These people used to be more quiet because things were going their way and there wasn’t any reason to complain.
I definitely don’t agree with some of what she said, and think a lot of liberals focus too much on some kind of purity instead of the bigger picture. Like I said in another comment, though, TS’s stance on feminism isn’t just her personal views, it’s part of her brand. As the latter, I think there’s more room to…
JLo hasn’t marketed her feminism to the same extent, though. Beyonce arguably has, but “Formation” and the ensuing criticism alone was more than anything Swift’s done.
I think a lot of them are pretty young, too, and that’s scary as well.
I kept hoping Kotaku would have an article about Beglitched. Nice game, happy to see it get a shout out.
I agree. I usually don’t judge celebrities too harshly either, and judging other people’s feminism can be dangerous. But I think companies deserve to be side-eyed when they take the least controversial, easiest to perform parts of a movement and use them to promote their products. Taylor’s personal views here are…
I don’t think celebrities are necessarily obligated to voice political concerns, but when TS uses feminism as marketing, I think she somewhat opens herself up to this kind of criticism.
lol yeah, nobody likes Cibola Burn all that much. I liked Elvi but the pacing in that one felt slower to me.
