I got into a huge argument with my mother yesterday. She acted like I was being ridiculous and told me to calm down. I asked her how she could support a man who hates who she is. I told her so many of my friends are afraid to live here now and my stepfather yelled, "Good, they can get out."

Along with Alaska being the "most deserving in the history of the show," most of the other Drag Race contestants (past and present) seem to agree with that, at least as far as I can tell. And that means a lot to me. Heck, before the girls even met the other contestants, most assumed she would be there.

Several of the contestants this season have mentioned in interviews (Ginger, Alyssa, and Tatianna, from what I can remember) that Alaska basically shut herself down for this competition and focused mainly on winning, and came off cold and distant as a result. I was glad to see her acknowledge it this episode rather

1. I endorse this Rupinion. I've been amazed by her this season.

That's a great way to sum all of that up. Most of the girls this season have already been chiseled and refined through the RPDR boot camp, so this season of All Stars especially seemed to be more of a test of how far their developed talent can stretch.

I think two weeks from tonight?

I would for the most part put Detox above Violet, but Violet's season 8 reunion look immortalized her in my eyes. I don't think I've ever had such a visceral reaction to a look on drag race.

I kind of think Willam was on the money when he said that the twist was orchestrated to direct attention (and hate) away from the judges and show producers. The contestants have to assume the responsibility for the favorites being sent home, and Ru doesn't have to take the abuse.

I've said this before, but I think Alaska has grown into one of the most remarkably well-balanced queens to come out of RPDR. It's why she's one of my favorites, if you'll forgive my bias. She's tremendously talented, and I think it's a shame that her reputation has taken the hit it has because of (as she and others

I fell hard for the producers' Katya win fake-out.

That show of her expression was great. Maybe she was thinking she'd be overlooked in the lip sync again, like in the first episode (which I thought she definitely won over Roxxxy, to be honest).

I'm hoping she doesn't get in trouble for that. So many people in the drag community let things slip out, and one source is saying that a lot of the stuff her ex leaked was probably gathered from other queens rather than just from Alaska herself, as some of the info he gave is looking to be untrue (if I'm remembering

Ah, so do you know where the "third place" thing came from? That's how Courtney's referred to herself before, I guess it's the fan vote?

Sharon did win four main challenges that season, which is more than anyone else ever has. Well, maybe until this season…
