Seriously. And the Tuskegee comparison doesn’t even make sense because the vaccine is being offered to, and recommended for EVERYONE. How could a vaccine that’s being offered to everyone be a secret plot to only harm Black people? If it were only Black people that were being told to get the vaccine, that comparison

I feel like at least the Olympics could keep people from participating sans vaccine. I mean, they’re keeping people out for smoking pot once, after all.

I felt like shit for about 12 hours after the second shot and I would do it again if it meant not getting the actual virus. I’ll take boosters. I’ll get another vaccine if people don’t wake up and we need a new vaccine because of mutations (I’ll be really pissed at those people, but I’ll take the vaccine.)

People who think that reasonable public safety measures are a “dictatorial move” need to FOAD.

If you’re not vaccinated, you shouldn’t be allowed to use public transportation, set foot in public spaces including public parks and libraries, go to the movies, go to concerts or sporting events, send your kids to school, get a job, fly, grocery shop, or do anything at all that involves leaving your house.

I love that golfers story. That shit cost him $1.6M in prize money.

I was wondering what happened to him.  Glad he's doing good in the world for the world.

In France you can’t do anything with more than 50 people without being fully vaxxed, and starting next month you won’t be able to take trains or eat out, and at least some people are calling it a dictatorial move. No way it’ll happen in the US. A lot of states have already made it illegal to require proof!

To DeAndre Hopkins, Matthew Judon and you especially Cole Beasley in the immortal words of Jerry Glanville NFL stands for Not For Long. You could all drop dead during the morning session of training camp and they would have your replacement in uniform by 1:00pm. For a league who’s unofficial motto is “anything for

I was honestly waiting for this to show up here.

The smartest football player I ever saw laughed at the NFL and did his biz with a Rhodes scholarship.

NFL Player: I’d rather not play than get the vaccine.

Cool. The NFL suddenly has a conscience when it comes to vaccinations. It would be great if they had the same conscience with regard to concussions, or racism.

He called her that because he was defending her!! Right?? Right????

He could have made his point without actually saying what the mayor said.

I think when we read Huck Finn in elementary school, our teacher was *adamant* about everyone calling the character Jim. The word was still in the book, but we never once used it aloud.

I wouldn’t erase it from a book, but I couldn’t read it out loud from a book.

I think it’s fine to use it in a book for historical context like Huck Finn, but using it out loud like this jackass did?  Hell no.

“Sooner or later, white people are going to have to learn there is no context in which their use of the n-word is anything less than inappropriate and racist.”

“We need to stop the racial slurs that the mayor makes,” Bryant said.
