So Stephen A gets dragged on TV & forced to face Jeff Passan MLB reporter and an Asian American reporter and Rachel Nichols isn’t made to look at Maria Taylor or any other black female at ESPN? Yeah imma head out. Yeah what Stephen did was shitty but y’all notice who they made face the music right? No taking Rachel

Damn, she made them jump through all those hoops to try to walk-back some racist big dollar donor’s bullshit and grant her a tenured position, with all the ensuing negative press that UNC rightfully got for their bullshit, and then said “nah, I’m over here now.”

He should start drinking the non-racist alcohol. Also known as alcohol.

All that racist alcohol and medication really should come with warning labels, or be stocked in locked cabinets. It's just a matter of time before someone mixes them and turns into Jefferson Davis.

The full apology is breathtaking:

Alcohol and drugs reveal the real person hiding inside.

Ah.  The “I am only a racist when I am drunk” excuse....because that is not really who I am.

I wonder what my chances are of getting into Howard? I may have to retake my ACT; and study this time. It would be worth it for a class with Professor Coates.

This is making me want to re-attend college!

HELL yes.

I love how Crystal Meth here complains that Mickey turns off her “notifications so ppl can’t tell you what they think of you” and then makes her whole account private. Crystal, there’s a whole line of ppl out here who want to tell you what they think of you, don’t be like this!

I have role models but only for the specific quality I admire in them - I don’t extrapolate.

Exactly. Anytime you put someone up on a pedestal like that you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. Nobody is perfect and the vast majority of people are extremely far from it. Model your life after what you think is good and right, not anybody else’s opinion and especially not the opinion of an actor.

This is why I don’t have role models.

If he’s convicted of the federal civil rights charges he’s facing, he’d have to serve the vast majority of that (85%?) before he’s eligible for parole, and that would be served after this state sentence.

“My son is a good man!’

“My son is a good man!’

Still looking out for himself. Any apology would be a confession in his upcoming federal civil rights trial.

She certainly seems to value her (white) happiness over other (lesser Black) people’s happiness. Revolting.

Can someone explain how much real time he’ll likely do? I feel like with “good behavior” and other stuff it’s unlikely he’ll serve the full 22.5.
