Wasn’t she sexually harassed by some commenter who kept posting nude pictures of her?

Oh yeah, Sonya. She was pretty awful.

Sonya Saraiya brought tons of shit down upon herself in mid 20-teens.”

Remember when she thought Kumail Nanjiani and Kunal Nayyar were the same person?

Give all the awards to Rhea Seehorn.

Florida ain’t worth shit.

Every single time. “Brendan Fraser receives 6-minute standing ovation from passers by while checking his mail.”

It’s my contention that Brendan Fraser should get a 6-minute standing ovation essentially any time he enters a room, but maybe that’s just me.

It’s a challenge, you know: one doesn’t want to respond to a review with “you just don’t get it man” because the whole purpose of a program like this is to invite discussion: the ambiguities and uncertainties are explicitly designed to position different audiences differently. Its not overly prescriptive about where

Maybe it’s just me but the ‘glacial’ court scenes were far more interesting than a rote battle for battle’s sake - we don’t even get to see the actual highlight of it, Daemon versus the Crab Feeder, which happens off screen.

Also the dragons the arrive are not the forces that Viserys was sending (which did not

That is exactly what I thought. That opening scene really shook and disturbed me in a way it never had before when I saw it in IMAX yesterday.

Jaws is a completely experience on the big screen.  I’d seen it probably a hundred times before I first saw it in a theater, and the change was remarkable.  Chrissy being eaten is almost unbearable on a big screen.

Saw the 3-D Jaws re-release in IMAX today and it was amazing. I never realized how much Spielberg really played with depth of field until watching this. I’ve seen it hundreds of times and this was absolutely worth the re-watch.

Saw Jaws yesterday in IMAX and yes it was fantastic.

He probably did it in some 10-page song form, which I would have skipped the fuck right over.

Ms. Williams has played a remarkable career, I certainly wouldn’t have wanted to be on the opposing side at any point. I would be of the opinion she won’t win the US Open, time and injury history just aren’t on her side. Everything else is sort of a gift, well earned, but still a gift.

Now playing

Well, yeah, she’s not expected to have a deep run because she’s 40, which is like 62 in tennis years where 32 is getting ready to be put out to pasture. Her longevity of success is literally unprecedented aside from Federer also still hanging around at 41. We haven’t seen tennis players have noticeable success at this

Well, at least someone in the AV Club office still knows who Weird Al is.

It’s almost certainly Mary Holland, not Marie Holland, who is writing this with Lauren Lapkus.

Confusing headline... thought that Danielle Fishel had come out at some point, too.

Isn’t that Weird Al himself, sans moustache, as the dude behind the desk?
