Sugar grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, which is just a hair North of Washington DC in Montgomery County. From there, it's a fairly quick drive to the resorts in Delmarva. :)

Ocean City, MD is one-half tourist trap filled with screaming brats, and one-half pit of sleaze filled with screaming brats.

Bugs needed to feel valuable, so I understand why he did what he did to Florida…

I would accept this fate.

Bad morning!

I went to the same resort towns in Delaware when I was growing up (we lived about two hours from there), and I totally get the Beach City vibe; Sugar captures those places famously.

This couldn't be more true! Some of the very best times of my life were spent in cheap motels…

I was WONDERING about that!

It's the kind of thing all kids need to see…and then go to therapy on an as-needed basis.

A couple of the early "feels" ones put SU on my radar, for sure ("Steven The Sword Fighter"). That said, allow me to correct my above…it's "WHEN I cry," not "if I cry".

It's also possible that the various places are considerably more spread out than we think (thus warp pads). For all we know, the Comm Hub is halfway across the continent. :)

I adore Pearl. Yeah, she really made me facepalm on this one. Doesn't matter. Love her anyway.

I need to get mentally prepared for it. It's invariably better to have these done once per week than a concentrated blast…then again, I'm old and my nerves and feels are shot. Get off'n mah lawn.
