I understand the objections of people who were promised publicity, but if you accepted the job with no formal agreement and are upset that you were paid $15 then the real payment is learning a lesson in not being swindled by a teenager.

Mr. Thomas Ian Nicholas pops up around Wrigley Field in some capacity every year or so. He seems to be a good sport about the whole thing. Or maybe he needs to bilk drunk fans for autograph money on Clark after the game... Either way. He seems alright.
Suuuure. I don’t work in legal or anything like that, that’s how civil matters are often explained in comparison to “reasonable doubt.”
It’s on Briles, but the threshold isn’t as high as in a criminal case. It’s the classic “more probable than not” level of proof.
You’re misinterpreting what that 7 hours is. It is not the totality of all the rod time they have logged, it’s essentially a seven hour video of their car’s video display while they made that drive with the two reporters. The idea is that, from that video, you can recreate their data gathering steps.
He followed up by explaining that he needs those to last for just two more years.
Solid. Though only pirates fans and morons objected to that very commonplace slide.
Yeah and that animosity reeeeeally derailed the team.
Assuming it was the case, and no reliable outlet has given support to that claim, Bernstein used that to make a case that there was insurmountable dysfunction within the Hawks locker room and that Sharp HAD to be traded at the deadline in 2015 or else they would continue to wallow in mediocrity. I’m not saying I know…
This is one that I can’t quite get behind. There is a disconnect between espousing a deep seated obligation to the patients she has served (for two WHOLE MONTHS!) and then abandoning them over a fear that has yet to become a reality. For what it’s worth, I have been through a relatively comparable professional…
It’s weird that so much energy was spent laughing at Trump for saying he would not accept the results if he lost. And now you say the republicans would definitely contest the results. It’s almost as though you forget that the most notable protest was Gore in 2000. We lost because we nominated one of the few candidates…
Except we do know. The DNC put forth a boring candidate that failed to energize its voter base and shockingly neglected to campaign in major swing states. That’s why we lost.
Let’s not go down this road again...
The best thing I’ve heard while they were on the air was Lawrence Holmes repeatedly calling Bernstein a penis for giving a fill in Hawks reporter shit for not having something more specific than “lower body injury.”
Yeah, according to Dan Bernstein. Never mind the fact that Everyone close to the team denied that, no one publicly corroborated the story, Keith and Sharp are still good friends, and Sharp is still happily married.
Well, except when they claim Patrick Sharp is fucking everyone’s wife and that he has to be dealt mid season for the Hawks to succeed. My hatred for B&B stems from the fact that they’re dismissive of pretty much every caller.
How so? Yeah, he’s not GOOD, but he’s better than anything else they’ve ever thrown out there. Are you one of those “Cutler doesn’t even WANT to win! Just look at his expression!” people? Cuz guess what, dude wants to win every game, even if that rarely works out.
Still... Boers and Bernstein are the sports radio equivalent of the Bart Simpson Cone of Ignorance.
Not just NHL, but even AHL and pretty much every notable league. Halfway through each period, they run the Zamboni to smooth out the ice. Ten L top tier hockey players can really mess up a playing surface in just a few minutes time.
1. The same mistake was made earlier this year in the Central Michigan / Oklahoma St game.
