Our side.
Our side.
An old adage that I think is usually true: never attribute to malice what can be explained by stupidity.
I hope you’re right. As a white guy, other white people feel free to let me know, in ways both little and small, how little they think a Trump presidency will change things (or how he will improve things, on the extreme end). Many really believe that the Republicans in Congress will keep him in check. To them, I say…
Many people I know think I’m paranoid. I can see it in their eyes that they are worried I’m losing it. The only thing I know is that my friends of color are scared and experiencing things that should terrify us all.
You’ll love this:
We get it, Trump is “literally Hitler” and a real poopy head, but you know what? I heard practically the same kinds of things from conservatives when Obama was elected.
What is the fucking ethical issue? Are you about to start marching against Photoshop use in print media?
LOL. You think a network wants to get, what $5000 per 1M views, to cover a show they probably shelled out $250K an hour to produce?! So they need 50M views per episode — probably about 25X their average audience —to break even? Sounds like a recipe for success.
Objectivity putting out harmful and repugnant views is not objective.
Yeah, I’m not quite sure why being curious about whether they are racist shitbags 100% of the time or merely 92% of the time is a reason to put you on blast. If people think this doc about the KKK is going to do some damage when sites like Stormfront are easily accessible is a mind boggling leap in logic to me.
It’s the traitor’s flag, yet somehow these guys get upset when I mention that tiny blaring fact. Go figure.
