Honestly, the only bits of Defenders worth watching were the scenes of Matt and Jessica together, so I couldn’t care less if they never do another. Just have the two of them appear in each other’s shows once in a while.
I could be wrong here but I have a suspicion that Disney might try to do the Defenders on their new streaming service instead of Netflix. I could be wrong but with them pulling everything Disney from Netflix it kind of makes a bit of sense.
Just because we won’t get Defenders Season 2 doesn’t mean we can’t get Heroes for Hire or Daughters of the Dragon. So I’m going to hold out some optimism.
I’m more focused on the possible good. With the right fight choreographer it could be really cool to watch different types of benders fight. If the show has a nice long run it would be a chance to see the kids get older like we did with the Harry Potter films. Should be fun to see who they cast because the cartoon…
