I like to try and put at least a half assed effort into it, and I knew some mine nazi would rip me if I didn’t post an exact picture of a lithium mine, so I tried to find a suitable picture. You win some you lose some. Either way I still love diesel trucks and teslas equally. Cheers!
Frankly I couldn’t care less about the facts here, just looking to stir the pot. Looks like it worked!
Imagine the amount of lithium needed for all the cars on the road to go EV or hybrid? Talk about scale!
What do you think all the synthetics in an ev are made from?
I think the point’s been made. All open pit mines look more or less the same. The bigger question, what percentage of mined lithium goes into EVs? I’ll bet currently pretty low.
Keep in mind that one your kiddo learns to do her own seatbelt, two door cars are once again an option. Sure it may be 4 or 5 years down the road, but that’ll be here before you know it.
Sooo hipster
The ultimate liberal dilemma. Support the cabbies and their union, or support the hip tech startups?
Remember that Jalopnik piece on how driving a Tesla across the country was a better way because of the charging stops? Perhaps taking the bus could be the same for you.
No problems here in SA. There’s also the bus. Ride that shit. It’ll get you there.
Or you know, you could actually call a cab...
Thanks for being a good sport! I always train myself to recognize the low hanging fruit.
