There's plenty of slide-y dirt action, and you can definitely feel the difference when you hit the short asphalt sections. The handbrake is handy. Suspension is modeled and I've unintentionally rolled my car off of jumps more than a few times.

I have this game and I am thoroughly impressed by it. The touch controls are surprisingly good (I've only ever screwed up because of the controls once or twice). I wish the difficulty ramped up faster, though — the first two championships are a total walk in the park.

I oogled this F-Type myself a couple of weeks ago. I was really surprised at the $92,000 (base, I think?) price.

Okay, so maybe the V8 won't depreciate into the <$100,000 range, but a regular ol' Atom is still buckets of fun for cheap, cheap, cheap.

Indeed, my 2002 Miata has none of these systems. Just an attentive, knowledgeable driver.

I think The_Gribbler is talking about power-retractable hardtops, not just non-convertible hardtops.

My friend and I just got back from driving 8 hours across the southeast to SoWo in his Abarth 500. The Abarth was really great for the trip. Putting aside all snarkiness, anyone want to guess what car is "under wraps" in this image? The back end looks like the Toyobaru, but the front end doesn't match up.

Why does this making-of video have better coverage of the actual drifting than the production's final cut?

This is awesome.

What a great slide at 2:30.

I had never heard of this until today. Thank you for the information!

What is this? Real-life Gran Turismo? No liveries, relatively low entrants, awesome collection of cars.

Public transportation would be an option for inclement weather, too.

The lead photo answers the question perfectly. All I need is an Ariel Atom.

I need a better look at that interior; it seems like it looks better than the exterior.

For those of you saying the Naked Snake genderbender cosplay is needlessly sexy, her costume is actually canon. Behold, the "Naked Camo" in MGS3.
