Wasn't a teaser for a Sly movie released a few years ago?

That would be great indeed. I'd also love to see a pixel-art / developement design-book like this for the (S)NES, since i've never cared much about Segas systems.

…in getting canceraids?
But seriously: this sounds like a fascinating read, but i don't know if i'm currently in the mood for a book that's "equal measures enjoyable and frustrating". Maybe i'll give it a shot on my summer vacation, when i have the necessary time for a story that needs piecing together in the readers

It was also the first movie i've seen in quite some time which had the whole audience gasp in shock (when the camera turns around during the whipping). The movie was often hard to watch (in a good way), but that scene is probably the most stomach-churning.

Thanks for the tip - i'll get them as soon as their website starts properly working again.

I know gameplay is more important than graphics and all that, but i think one reason i enjoyed Pokemon X so much is because the battles are finally fully animated. There's a difference between just seeing attacks fly from one mostly static sprite to another and actually having the Pokemon move to attack. The battles

Cobrastan is not real country!

Heh, i wonder when the pissed off fanboys will appear to tell John how much he sucks for liking new Dante.

I think nostalgia is an important factor here. Back in the days, fans of the Dreamcast tended to be pretty vocal about the system, and the untimely death gave it an almost mythical aura. I remember a guy in some forum raving on about how great the DC was and how hard the PS2 sucked long after the DC had been killed

I don't think the redesign is that bad, but removing the "All Shows" button from the TV section was imho not a good idea. Having to use the search function to jump to an episode before getting to the series page is rather uncomfortable.

I wonder if the sucess of Gravity will give this movie a push - the execution is completely different, but the basic premise sounds very similar: one man / woman trying to survive against the odds after a disaster on the ocean / in space.

Is it just me or are the first three links broken?

Can't wait for the bloodbath in the comments if you ever get to write about the Nostalgia Critic.

AC3 kinda tried a double-narrative, so i wouldn't be surprised if later games get a bit more into the conflict in modern times.
Or maybe they go all Inception on us and reveal that the games actually take place in the far future, so Desmonds adventures were just an Animus-recall and we were playing a memory recall of a

According to Wikipedia, there's indeed a character named "Fisto" who "is an extra-strong warrior with an enlarged metal right hand." I get the feeling he's not going to be in the movie.

Not sure if this is true, but i heard his name was changed from "Gorko" to "Orko" because the animators could recycle his mirror-inverted animations with an O on his chest.

LAUNCH EVERY ZIG.

I always wonder if actors are used to getting interviewed by journalists who know nothing about their acting history.

I like Source Code, but the ending was kinda baffling. Just fading to black at the "frozen kiss" would probably have been the better choice.
