I never dismissed her anger over being called a “side kick”. Are you even reading what you are replying to?

To be fair, Chop Suey is a very well-known and very-popular venue in the city for independent music. Not to say that it’s name isn’t somewhat problematic, but I think it’s ok for an Asian woman to be offended by someone categorizing her as a sidekick and to consider that a very distinct issue from the name of a club.

I am going to take the fact that I was banished back to the greys at the same time we hit loggerheads as a coincidence and not Gawker Media trying to quiet dissent (as minor as it maybe) I could understand if I had been racist or dismissive, but I was neither. The perfect way to show your hand, eh?

For $10 I will come over to your house, light some cheapo tea candles and spill a lot of wine. You provide the wine.

Plus you could buy like 2 boxes of wine for one fake candle bottle of wine. So no thanks.

Shout out to all my fellow Jezzies who read “inexpensive Yankee candles” and thought about how you only get Yankee candles when they're on the clearance endcap at TJ Maxx.

Who among us didn’t rebel against our parents at that age?

I just had to let you know that this comment totally made my day. The fact that you qualified you’re statement as kinda strong and this woman who is so awful others would wish her to die in a fire. All you said is I hope she is alone. You’re a good person. And on the internet no less!

That’s immediately what I thought of as well. And then I immediately wished that she doesn’t have any close friends or family. Because she seems terrible and should be alone at Christmas.

Oh, thank goodness. That was horrifying.

Noted. Don’t click on political articles in the future. Everybody wins.

...This is not a game.

...their parents didn’t step in and say “hey back off lady?”

No I agree. Jennifer has a nice life and the career Lindsay still dreams about. She doesn’t need to respond to a catty comment from someone who already seems pretty tortured by low self worth, jealousy, and regret. And that’s even before the sobriety issues! I think it’s possible JLaw just put her foot in her mouth,

No I totally agree with you on that one. It definitely felt like “punching down” particularly from someone riding a real career and fame high like Jennifer. I’ve always wished Lindsay would have embraced honesty(another thing she struggles with) because I think it would make her less of a target for ridicule. I really

Haha I just think they’re upset that she made this comparison because it wasn’t even necessary like while I do associate Lindsay with drugs I don’t associate Lindsay and being exhausted so it was kind of like why even bother saying that besides to try to be funny or something by making fun of someone who has obviously

In the third grade my fraction homework routinely had tear splashes all over it. My mom would sit with me every night and coach me back from the brink of childhood sanity.

Wasn’t she studying math to help her sons with their homework? Good for her.

I find it interesting that Clean eating is a trend more in countries in with junk food and obesity is high ( also because of the absence of food culture and cooking). It’s also a way of signalling something on your social class, as the rate of obesity are the highest among poors.

I still kick myself for being too young to know how not ok the harassment I experienced at the restaurant I worked at was. Instead, I quit because I started having panic attacks.
