I agree. She had to remain professional, but she reached that man by reminding him of a history they shared. Had she been cold hearted, the judge simply would have ignored all that, addressed his legal issues, and moved the docket. I found it touching and wish him well.

It’s a parental rights question. With this bill you have no choice as parents... In our country, we always have safety in our Constitution. And there’s like six Supreme Court cases in the last decade that honor parents rights to do what’s best for their child.
