I absolutely loved this game back on the DS. At first glance, it resembles so much cheap shovelware, but the level of polish put into each game is unbelievable.

The Carol Mosley Braun arc as you’re describing it is insanity. Why would you have your protagonist stepping in and blocking a historic Senator’s campaign (and not likely winning considering Clinton’s profile would not be impressive enough to overcome the carpetbagging without being married to the former president)?

Agree.  Lalo genuinely thought he was buddies with Saul and Nacho.  At the end of Bad Choice Road, Lalo’s epiphany comes when he promises Nacho they’ll be working together and sees Nacho’s very unexcited reaction - just like Jimmy’s.  Nacho is one of those people who thinks the world loves him and then realizes he’s

Just realized what a dick move the finger guns were, after Jimmy had recently explained his PTSD.

What’s crazy is a guy like that with such menace’s weakness is actually his playful friendly side. Even though he uses his playfulness to intimidate part of him truly wants to be buddies with everybody. It’s not just an act, it’s a character trait.

What amazes me about this show is how it challenges the viewer to sympathize and fear maybe the wrong people.

It’s amazing how much more tense I was during the Jimmy and Kim scenes than during the Lalo-Nacho conversation. Shows how terrified I am of anything happening to her.

Considering the way Nacho took out Hector, I’m a bit surprised Gus doesn’t consider Nacho more of a personal threat. Gus obviously thinks of himself as two steps ahead of everyone, but it still feels odd that he doesn’t feel more at risk from Nacho doing something when pushed too far.

Gus must’ve paid those assassins with Los Pollos Hermanos coupons.

Hell yea. Maybe its his charm, or maybe I just have a thing about attacking a man in his own home, but I was rooting for Lalo all through that firefight.

On the surface, Nacho, man of few words, doesn’t seem like he’s on the level of the top heroes and villains in this universe, but there’s a scrappy intelligence to him that makes me glad he’s in the game. I loved the padlock trick, and the kitchen sabotage, but even before that, I got the sense he was trying to get

Because it’s the right character transformation as determined by propulsive narrative development. It doesn’t have to be “right”—it just has to fit, and it fits. Oh, how it fits! For all of this show’s dynamite shootouts and setpieces, the writers also know and develops the characters extremely well.

It was a great touch for Nacho to try to convince the assassins to spare the non-muscle people like the old lady. You could tell he was thinking of his father.

Nacho had better make tracks to ABQ as fast as possible and get him and his old man to Manitoba post haste. Lalo definitely knows Nacho let the hit squad in and and he knows now that Nacho is working for Gus. Lalo won’t rest until he or both of them are dead.

Yea, I’m thinking Kim and Jimmy never see that 2 million dollars, so whatever they are going to try, may go monumentally sideways. I’m scared.

People still speculating whether Kim dies or not is getting old. She clearly does not die in S6. It’s impossible. Not happening. There’s no part of Jimmy/Saul in BB that carries the weight of having a loved one die. He’d have mentioned it, it would have been an integral part of his character and the writers of this

I know Lalo Salamanca is on an epic fire path of rage and all, but I’d really like to see him show off his cooking skills one last time before this series is over. Dude makes a mean taco.

I’ve given many accolades to Rhea Seehorn—the secret weapon of this show—and sang Bob Odenkirk’s praises too. He has completely put comedic actor as a secondary characteristic, as he is a complete actor now in every way. They were both wonderful again in this episode, which relied so heavily on body language, longing

Oh shit Lalo’s on the warpath now

My reading of the final scene was that what Kim said really got to him, and he realized he can trust Nacho. Now he's going to take Nacho everywhere, like his sidekick.
