And you are following one of the semi-rules, don’t track your daily.

This should be interesting, it is as though you knew the answer all along. Good luck, be safe, have fun.

The pressure bleeder makes it a cake walk, I was amazed at how simple it was when you be extra careful with the obvious stuff.

Hey, gotta respect the long game on doing everything right and on his time. His posts were one of the factors that convinced me “hell, it doesn’t look that bad! look at this guy doing it with one of the most notoriously difficult ones imaginable!” and I ended up getting a later model easier to work on one.

Itsh meh Merhd Mehrx Derfmerburrr

How long has that thing been under the wrench for now? Weren’t you on rear subframe bushing stuff a while ago? I remember seeing the rear torn up.

The main thing that kept me from getting a touring was the limited engine choices, it was a bummer to see they ignogred that segment on the notch between paying M insurance and entry level. All the maintanence stuff just requires and extra step or two, torque everything to spec, and parts are stupid priced, but so far

The pandemic made it unlikely that I would be able to travel to either coast to get a used 335i sedan with a manual in an interesting color, and this was the comprimise after shopping them a bit more and learning what the GT actually was. I am all for the extra snow clearance and Dadmobile levels of backseat legroom

We somehow snagged a good Intex Excursion Pro 2 person early Spring when the pandemic hit and got really lucky to obtain one at MSRP by shopping when snow was still on the ground, checked 2 months later and they were selling for twice the price. While a pain on inflating and packing, it sure does only take up one

Love that two tone combo

Oh snap, I need to get the inflatable out of the storage closet, although with Wife pregnant I somehow doubt we will see anything other than some reservoir paddling this season. I even got a book of good places to drop of and pickup to do mountain rivers that were not too intimidating and haven’t yet put it into

You know where you are asking this, so the obvious answer is buy another project. If the GLI is your current running daily that makes it tough, easier to put work into immediate gratification over checking off a punch list for a long termer.
I have to tackle the oil filter housing gasket this weekend since the weather

Seconded -

I had to get the little flag over there all weird, and unfortunately I was lacking the equipment to get something zoomed from higher than 6', but thanks. I prefer desperately struggling to keep them in frame with a drone these days a bit more -

Someone said pets, have pets! I had the “luxury” of dogsitting for my folks this week with their giant mountain dogs, but Wife was also out of town so I had to head down the hill in the mornings to feed the cats and hang out till time to head back up the mountain for doggie dinner. Yay pets!

I will try to catch them when I can, thanks

Cool, thanks for the info. This setup has been accumulated over the last 10 or so years, trust me this crap didn’t just all fall out of the sky. I am trying to start a video production company with my drone stuff so at least I got to tax write off almost all of it. Just bit the bullet and got a current version of Sony

It is a great show, but I always skip the intro as soon as uncanny valley Adam Scott is on screen.

Don’t tell my boss what my WFH setup evolved into over the last year...

That was an incredible display of skill, and that video captured the frightening edge of control combined with speed to just feel sketchy. Dug up something higher quality -
