I love the rich irony of all these people saying that Huang isn't the best/most interesting character in his own story (I would disagree completely, he's just turned into a soft dweeb by this sitcom).

I'm thinking they're thinking PHANTASM

Only because this is the last season of Mad Men, and I forgot about that. But Banks is a likely winner.

It isn't affection, it is a realization, but not an "oh shit" realization. The whole thing with her joining the church was her looking for a way out of the family. Recall how unhappy she was before the church. Pastor Pinhead is more interested in restoring the family bonds. Paige sees in Stan the possibility of a

It isn't meant to be taken loving as in romantic love.

In the voice of Sgt. Barnes (Tom Berenger) I know ya'll love Th' 'Mericans. Talking about Emmys? Ya'll experts?

With one facial expression.

Struggles? LOL. In some ways, I'm with @thecolonelmc:disqus re: this record. But no, nigga ain't struggling. It seems a lot of people are too eagerly reading too much into his lyrics. He appears to be bothered with what every other rapper on their second record are bothered with, wack rappers, fake women, crap record

NO SINGING IN THE CYPHER

The TRC reports were interested in necklacing due to politics, but the practice went on before 85. The ANC didn't invent it, and the Zulus did their fair share.

Thing is, those games spend years in development. The die was already cast when 10 went on sale. As a broken clock is right twice a day, a studio in chaos could still manage to produce a decent game.

Really, it all went to shit when the Final Fantasy movie bombed. They had a huge world takeover strategy, much like one of their RPG villains, but it was dependent on the movie being a success. Sakaguchi stumbled off to lick his wounds and things were never the same afterwards. Xenogears 4ever

Jog on.

Yes, because if we know anything about Mandela it is that he was totally concerned about the Western powers spreading propaganda about him when he was considered a terrorist by the USA . . . .

Except that you have the show's creator on record as saying he's going to blow the lid off homophobia in the Black community. The show isn't "suggesting" that, it has as a goal to deal with the issue. For me Daniels gets a ton of things wrong, but he has a point regarding homophobia in mental illness.

It could well mean that what he suggests in his autobio, that he was playing the party to get the support they weren't getting from the West, is true

Moreover, the link you provided only tells us Mandela attended some meetings. It doesn't go to prove what you assert.

Mandela didn't say that. In his autobio he wrote “There will always be those who say that the communists were using us. But who is to say that we were not using them?”

The introduction of the Soviet Union's involvement in SA is meatier than given credit for here. It's not that Hans is a link to Gregory as pawn/puppet, it's a link to Beth and Phil being on the right side of history for once. The ANC used the Soviets in the same way young Osama used the US in Afghanistan. Just that

I think you're correct if you're suspicious that it's a continuity error by the writers. It's too much, even for Mike, to decide to pretend to be a drunken bum. Besides, he is genuinely pained, and Stacey remarks upon his drinking. We are to believe that it's real and there's nothing in the text to throw us off that.
