That's assuming that the Avengers sequel will be really good—an assumption that we can't necessarily make. Plenty of well-hyped sequels have fallen on their faces because they've tried to cram too much in or change the tone or "go bigger."

"Gobi" was my initial response to the FJ clue, but I was incredibly suspicious of its apparent ease and ended up talking myself out of it. Hate it when that happens.

Always enjoy when there's a little chit-chat/clue synergy. A lot of players are pleased when something comes up that ties in with their lives, but I think Julia Collins probably wins for Most Enthralled. Whenever the word "Chicago" was mentioned in a clue or pertained to a clue or was remotely adjacent to a clue, she

Oh how I loathe video categories. When they come with a minute or less to go, you know the category probably won't finish, and when players take them in the middle of the round, it slows everything down.

I love any and all categories about space and astronomy and I'm generally pretty good with them, despite the fact that my science education more or less ended in high school (unless you count that physics class I flunked my freshman year in college, which you probably shouldn't). For some reason space trivia just

The show in general is all over the place via syndication, but I'm assuming that the downloads of the show are mostly for the new episodes that have not immediately been launched into the syndication gauntlet. Unless the new ones are launched into the syndication gauntlet immediately.

Ah, to the contrary, the crew has her stashed away in a cage. They know that every time she comes out, they automatically get the goodwill of the audience.

To be (vaguely) fair, Jaclyn looked like she was going to have a heart attack in the middle of that thing. Did anybody here think she was going to come back and win?

I actually love that idea.

Awful is in the eye of the beholder. You could make the argument that Keith won a bunch of challenges despite being an old man and made it to the end despite being a member of the minority alliance from the merge onward. You could also toss in the argument that Keith played his idol at the correct time, which is

I'm sure Missy was more overbearing than was shown, but Jon certainly adored her and Natalie (who is a very good reader of people) didn't seem to have a problem with her. I don't think Reed's comments were isolated Reed thoughts, but I also don't think everybody shared those opinions. Or to go from another angle, if

Dripping condescension? Pish posh. You can enjoy a movie and still point out its flaws.

That's why I love 'Schindler's List' and '12 Years a Slave' so much. Through the roof entertainment values. The medium allows filmmakers to do a lot of different things.

Gyllenhaal may well end up getting the nomination, but the movie is so dark and twisted and weird that I doubt he gets the win. I thought he was spectacular in it. It didn't feel like a stunt role at all. Just an incredibly well-done piece of character acting.

I'm not too good for entertainment—one of my favorite movies of the year ("my favorite" is not the same as "the best") was 'Godzilla'—but it would be difficult to pretend that these Marvel movies are anything more than entertaining popcorn fluff. Which is great. There's a place in the world for that. I enjoy them. I

If only it was more like notable quirky, small-budget, unknown-actor-casting indie dramedy list inclusion 'Interstellar.'

Natalie is currently waving her check at you.

I almost always love the production choices with Survivor. People scoff at me whenever I say that I watch the show, but it has legitimate production values on everything from narrative edits to scenery to how they shoot and build challenges and tribal councils in terms of pacing. Some episodes are subpar because

Kelley? Honestly can't remember anything about her other than the fact that she was related to Dale. Do not understand the Shadow Cult of Kelley 'round these parts.

My head just exploded.
