Yeah, because NBC has those two shows that people like.

It was a strange interview, because 95% of the athletes will just give you the Oscar Loser response to a bronze or silver medal. Each Olympics, you get a handful of moments where people react with actual emotion when they don't win, and it's always refreshing because it rips away the NBC Sheen of the games. On the

Article nailed something I couldn't put my finger on while watching slopestyle: It's boring. It should be dramatic and cool and all of those good things, but it's not. The rails seem to serve no purpose whatsoever, the runs were over super quick, and while they were impressive in general, there was no drama at all.

Five hours is three too many for this kind of movie. I love cake, and sometimes I'll eat two pieces of cake, but if I have to eat the entire cake in one sitting, I end up wishing cake had never existed. I assume, anyway. I've never actually tried to eat an entire cake in one sitting.

The problem (or one of them) is that odds are higher that multiple characters get the short stick, end result being that it feels like they are just there to be there. It already happened in 'The Avengers' with the completely tossed on subplot of Black Widow and Hawkeye. Didn't care about either of them, did not

Die Bart Die.

I thought the only reason Twitter existed was so that you could stalk high profile people who you would never be able to friend on Facebook. Twitter logic: I "follow" Kanye West, which basically means that we're best friends. If he eats a peanut butter sandwich and tweets about it, that is essentially the same

Stephen King's judgment on movies can be summed up by the following: In the forward of one version of 'The Stand,' he suggests that Bruce Springsteen should play integral character Larry Underwood, based on the acting he had seen from Springsteen in music videos.

It's a Zack Snyder movie. It's not like he has to do anything other than stand in front of the green screen while the incomprehensible action sequences are created on computers.

I technically quit about a decade ago, but I rewatch the Golden Years often enough that it feels like I'm still on board. And then I remember that those episodes aired twenty years ago(!) or thereabouts and I feel really weird. Damn you, time!

I'll happily support American athletes who have trained for years to get (in some cases) a once and a lifetime opportunity to compete for Olympic gold. Do not penalize the athletes for the fact that Russia is a bigoted, corrupt country.

The Twitter complaints are only a minor nuisance. More problematic are the Twitter spoilers and entities like ESPN ruining crap because why the fuck should ESPN care about an NBC enterprise? We're all in this together…except those of us who want to gouge NBC's ratings.

I would love to snark, but I honestly have no idea how NBC is going to handle the political aspects. Probably by not handling them at all. I remember back during the Beijing games, NBC touched on some of the controversies at least a little? Or was the idea of NBC doing something competently just a dream I had?

Now I feel obligated to watch 'Air Force One' prior to the start of the Olympics. This is a good thing.

Like most people, I only watched the third one one time. Every now and then I try to convince myself to watch it again. Its critical reception was genuinely positive, even if I can't remember much about it. 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, somehow. Alas, I have yet to gather the courage to rewatch. I don't like being

Please take a step back and reevaluate: Your favorite college team had two of the most miraculous wins in the history of college football and came within a minute of a completely unexpected title. Your favorite NFL team scored the most points in NFL history, had a quarterback who broke multiple NFL records and

Do you really want the answer as to how 'Community' will fare against a CBS NFL game? I don't think you do.

As a Rams fan, I will boldly support my team and predict ten wins. Had the youngest roster in the league last year, were frisky, have terrifying defensive line, have some young playmakers on offense who should allegedly take next step (lookin' your way, Tavon Austin), have high pick and should be able to draft a

Hey, hey, no need to be mean to the Texans. They were supposed to be good this year.

Putting one or two NFL games a few days earlier than normal does nothing to change my enjoyment of football. Given that there are usually college games on Thursday/Friday/Saturday, I would be watching it in one form or another anyway.
