I’m a big C3 fan, esp the early ones, but this is a mess. You can find a nicer one for similar or slightly lesser money. No options, signs of poor care, mismatched parts, potential bird cage problems all spell Crack Pipe, loud and clear.

Gah, I wasn’t sure, but the more I read about the Tesla, the more I want one. I’d even settle for a Model 3. So. Much. Want.
I sold my Victory just after I got married (not because of the wife, just because) and a lot of the time I rode without a helmet. I get it’s dangerous, but the feeling of freedom is amazing. Stupid, I know, but it just feels right.
Great read. Sounds like when I drive my ‘68 Camaro with a race-ready built 302 with manual steering and manual 4 wheel drum brakes. It’s a visceral experience that takes a lot of pre-planning and care. You’d never fall asleep at the wheel of my car, nor this Jaguar. Excellent.
I had a 1984 944 in exactly this color combo (Sapphir Bleu) in the late 80's with 11K miles on it, and it was mint. That may have been the most fun driver I’ve ever had, and I gave this one a NP for nostalgic reasons. I was only a staff auditor at the time, but I was ballin’ on a budget only known to me and the rest…
A friend bought a K900 and it has been absolutely perfect with no issues; nice styling, 420 hp, luxury ride, beautiful interior, etc. for a good price. What’s not to like?
I bought an ‘86 528e in Bronzit with matching gold-ish interior with 70K miles on it in 1996 for $5500 and it was MINT. What a great car it was. That thing saved me when I was driving home a little lit (bad, I know but I have grown up since then) and came over the crest of a hill too fast in the slush and slammed into…
Beautiful, just beautiful.
Answer: Wait until they aren’t selling and then pick one up, deeply discounted, that will make the diesel a wise choice at the lower price point.
Generally not a fan of small pickups, but that thing is awesome.
I agree with David about the Jeep Compass. Horrible, horrible vehicle.
Any part number on the found part? Google it if so.
That’s an awesome event. I have a ‘68 Camaro that has stoked my kids’ passions for old (and new) cars, so I’m trying to do my part but I’d definitely attend one of these if close to me. Thanks for covering it.
That shooting brake looks just like a new Corvette.
The reenactment was worth the price of admission today.

The owner being a clueless DB is very likely here, but regardless, once he can’t get the fire out with the extinguisher I’d let ‘er burn as well, hoping for a total loss. Who wants a Lambo that’s been on fire and repaired at that point? Not me, especially because it’s never going to be the same or worth near as much…
Have you checked the existing strut for a part number and searched for that?
Eh, no state tax in FL as well as no yearly personal property tax so he’s not avoiding too many taxes if he registers in MT and lives in FL most of the time.
