Thank you! I've been looking for bits and pieces of info to confirm that these cars share the same platform and hard points. Glad to see I'm not the only one who sees this!

I came here to post this. I always loved the early nineties Maxima, the real 4-Door Sports Car with a stick. When the 7th gen came out I really liked the styling. Then I got behind the wheel...man, what a boring car to drive. Totally run of the mill. It’s in Avalon territory now, and at least when you buy an Avalon…
Came here to post this. The irony that GM is currently developing aluminum-bodied trucks is just part of what makes this ad campaign so stupid. There’s also the fact bear cages are actually built with aluminum.
The ride and handling of the SHO were actually quite good for the time. It was considered a taut, sporty, fun car to drive, not just a great engine. In fact, even the base Taurus was considered an excellent American car and ranked in the Car and Driver 10 Best something like 6 years in a row.

One of the best looking profile and rear quarter views out there. Shame you had to let it go.
I love these. Anybody know where to buy a clean one?
It would be the most relaxing collision you’d ever experience.
Clearly you have never driven a Dodge Caliber.
Unfortunately due to its 20 MPH speed restriction, it might not be the most practical or the fastest tow vehicle, but it can almost certainly get the job done. At least in parking lots and what not.
Thanks for posting. Really enjoyed reading about this historic airplane and the history of the 727. Great video too.
Somewhere under all that busyness and all those meaningless and inscrutable bends, pinches and tucks are the bones of a beautifully-engineered and nearly bulletproof 4x4 capable of crossing any desert or climbing any mountain.
Having worked in a body shop, I’m not surprised by the cost or the repair time. Nor do I consider either to be unreasonable, regardless of whether the body was steel or aluminum.
Honest question here: why did GM facelift these trucks so quickly? They’ve only been on the market for 2 years. Maybe less.
I've heard Trarch is really the best time to buy.
It would take an intense commitment to mediocrity to drop $15k on this orphan.
Mmmm...that sea foam green over gray reminds me of my mom’s 1992 Ford Taurus L.
Listed for $3500, but I bet you could get it for $3499...
