You hate replaying levels as in you are opposed to restarting from checkpoints? Because I did that a whole lot. Dishonored is more of a fast-paced stealth game for me. I semi-plan things out see if they work and if they don’t I usually reset and try something slightly different.

Out of $60 I can’t imagine the physical packaging and distribution being that much. At least for PC gaming where digital distribution is mainstream you often get discounts (pre-order, Steam sales) even on bigger AAA titles.

I mean, it’s kind of starting to catch up if you factor in the “Deluxe” versions of the game which retail for $10-20 more than the standard $60. They often don’t really add anything too additional.

You realize video game prices haven’t caught up with inflation right? Only charging $60 (still) is what is unsustainable in the video game industry. Prices need to be higher but people would revolt if that were the case. Hence DLC.
