There’s something called Special Access Programs (SAP), but they are slightly different than SCI.

Why do you call this an issue though? I’d rather people handling sensitive information to be able to divulge as little of it as possible if they were to defect.

Yes sir! I think we can get the master recording made of gold so you won’t soil your hands, sir!

...I-I... didn’t mean to s-speak out of line, sir!

scribbles in journal that I am correct

I’ll admit, if I had the means to own a falcon, I probably would own one.

Fair enough. It’s just that when I know something fairly well and people don’t I like to educate them. We’ve all been there :)

I don’t know but gear up, we’re hitting an ISIS stronghold tonight.

It’s not in the article because it is not a level of clearance, it is an additional eligibility you can apply for after you gain clearance. In the intelligence community they do not refer to it as code-word clearance, it’s SCI. I hate to link to Wikipedia, but it has a good explanation of it.

Yep, I’m speaking from experience too. I know the OP was incorrect, but technically so was the author’s rebuttal. But, alas, we are buried within the comments so most people probably won’t even know the truth.

Yeah, in the article is says “above top secret,” which is correct. But when the author tried to justify it by linking to The Atlantic article and saying that there were four levels of clearance, that was wrong. Per the US government, there are three levels of clearance. SCI is a subset.

There’s no doubt it’s higher. My point is that it is not a tier of classification as C/S/TS are. There are only three levels of classification. SCI is sublevel. If they were numerical, C=1, S=2, TS=3, then SCI would be the 0.1-0.9 subsets of those levels

I understand what you’re getting at, but “code-word clearance,” or, what it is generally called, sensitive compartmented information, isn’t a tier of clearance, it’s just an extra security measure. You can have a Secret marked piece of information with a compartmended segment.

What are you on about? They have wizards. That come from the moon. That’s enough story for me. :)

That’s the version with less filler and more “real ingredients” right? My dog gets that kind from Purina.

Fuck, yeah, that’s the one...

Isn’t there a full-size version of that picture where you can see more of the enormous gorge he is about to fall in?

Unfortunately, over 80 is reckless driving in VA, so I don’t see us changing anytime soon.

Holy shit starred for the perfect timing Rush quote!

Why are you only listing one of each of those people—you aren’t a...*gasp*...nouveau riche are you?!
