I lived in the Charleston area for a while and I didn't find the driving behavior to be too different than most of the other places I've lived.

That's definitely something I picked up driving in D.C., where people will honk for every little minor thing that happens. It's almost impolite if you don't honk at people there.

1st Gear:

This is a gas 5.7L V8! No engine work needed (right now, anyway). The biggest cost is brakes (needs a new caliper on rear passenger side) and a new exhaust manifold.
